Just make your own realistic Halloween wounds.
You only need Elmers school glue, some cotton and a little makeup :-)

well done petals, you have done a fab job helping me with your video. my grandson has nipped my head to do similar for 3yrs but i was only drawing on his face with the facepaint pencils,they never looked anything like scars. this yr he will have good scars thanks to you, god bless xxx

Yes my idea of using this glue works! How long does it last? I mean will the glue stay on for the night? As long as it lasts at least a few hours then it's ok.i thought today hmmm il diy Halloween latex and fake blood etc this year as I'm always buying it and then the kids lose it and I have to keep buying more every single Halloween I'm spending heaps just on the make up kits etc.

Glad there's finally a video like this! I'm allergic to laytex so cool stuff like this has always been off limits for me.
If you have a latex allergy,there are other options available for you to utilize. Spirit gum, gelatin,pros aide,etc. When a product is marked non toxic doesn't mean skin safe.

Definitely using this and a combination of other tutorials for my costume this year (I know it's more then two moths early, I like to be prepared and I'm a wee bit obsessive)
Good to know there's less painful ways to get cool effects like a carved smile or a laceration or something of the sort. I used lately last year and it *HURT* to take off. It felt like I was pulling my real skin off.
Though, you can do a bit more things with latex then with glue
yayay i tried it and made bigger wounds on my moms arm and it turned out awesomee. then i made cuts along my friends wrist in less than 5 minutes and now she wants me to do her halloween makeup!! im soo happy i found this vid!
This is an awesome video. Maybe someone asked, but how long does it take to dry the cheek scars with blow dryer?? I wanna do something like that, but worse cut. But I'm wondering how long I gotta blow dry my face until I can mold it and paint on it.

Osama Shafiq I wouldn’t use nail polish, it’s not safe for skin, especially near your face! You can get some cheep fake blood of Amazon! Good luck on your blood finding adventures!

With the second one, Scar wax would have worked better because a scratch caused by claws would have been a lot more tore up, bloody, and it would have went through your eyebrow, I'm not a professional but I've been doing SFX Makeup for a while now, I see what you're going for and you're doing awesome, keep doing what you're doing!

Just a few minutes, you will feel when it is dried a bit. A thin layer dries pretty fast, really depends on how large the area is and how much glue you put on :-)

What makeup do you recommend ? Get colors dark red, red, and brown ?? Buy any ordinary Halloween makeup paint ?
Yolicia Torres I personally use a brand called "Eulenspiegel" - it is a German brand tho. For a quick Halloween look or wounds like this you can use any ordinary Halloween Facepaint, water activated. If you really want to do something special that has to stick, I recommend anything from kryolan. They have awesome professional colours. And if you really want something special, there are alcohol activates face paints that will not rub off at all, no water can destroy it, it can only be removed with Alcohol face cleaner. But this is some over the top expensive stuff 😅

It's Elmers Glue - This works best since it is non toxic and for children. So it's safe if you have no allergies :-)

Great and easy tutorial! Before adding the blood tho, to make it seem more realistic, u should blush around the wound to make it look bruised and irritated
How about a latex-free FREDDY KRUEGER? Y'know, with the "my face is peeling because someone threw acid on me" effect in full 3D ? Is there a way to do it without liquid latex? (Other than MadeYewLook's 2D bodypaint version -- which is *epic*.)

Hey 😇 I did it last Halloween for my boyfriend and we went out, it only started coming off after a few hours because he was sweating like crazy haha - you scan easily get it off anytime you want.
