You are an excellent watercolor artist. Thank you for sharing. I draw a heart in l❤ve when I write. I’ve been doing it for years. It’s pretty nice to know others have similar ideas.😊
Oh my goodness 😂
I've actually tuned in on the same day you're posting this.
This has never happened before!

Thank you so much for your generous support of my channel 🥰
Meeden also make a porcelain pallet like yours 😊
Yes one of my students just ordered one. It’s ceramic and quite nice. Mine is plastic so it’s a lighter for taking to/from classes and workshops.
❤
Beautiful, Shelley! Do you happen to have a video that shows your technique for stapling down the watercolor paper and then later lifting it off when it is done? I currently paint on blocks to keep the paper flat, but it would probably be a lot less expensive to use bigger sheets and staple them down. 😅
It is more economical to use sheets and gives you the option of choosing your own size. I did a video on stretching but not removing.
I’m making a Birthday card for my husband. When you suggested a cat, the message could be Feed Me.
16 °C *1,8 + 32 = 49,8 °F
°C always multiplied by 1.8 and always plus 32
It would work after a shower, on a steamy mirror also.
Another great idea!
What board do you staple your paper to? Love this demo... thank you!
Thank you. I’m using Gatorboard aka watercolor board
When putting your background colors in, are you working wet onto dry? You are not getting hard edges because the colors bleed together? Thanks!
I am working wet on dry but quickly and with very wet paint. I do this so that the colors don’t get diluted by the wet paper. Spray bottle can help keep things flowing if needed.
This is so fun! Will white gouache work the same way?
It should. Happy painting.
Would a layer of gum arabic over the lettering make it clearer or would it ruin everything?
Gum Arabic by itself would be very shiny but would also become brittle and crack or flake off.
What fixative please, Shelley?
Most workable fixatives are fine. Mine is called Spectrafix
