Thank you, so very much, Shelley! You are one of the very few talented artists who actually demonstrate and TEACH! I am not a beginner, but I am old and on a fixed income. I can’t afford Patreon or Skillshare or channel memberships. I still want to learn and improve my skills. I have sold a few paintings, but that’s not why I paint. Your videos are a Godsend to me! You give your time and skills every single week and I just want you to know how much I appreciate you! You must do this for the joy of teaching, because I know you can’t be making much on these videos. While others have gone to “gimmicks” I can rely on a true lesson from a master! Thank you, one again!
This was a great tutorial, and I appreciate your providing it. Your style of teaching is one I can follow without confusion or feeling terribly rushed. Thank you so very much for sharing your talents.
Thank you for this lesson!! I love to hear all that you have to say! You give information on everything you do and why. I really appreciate your wonderful videos 😊
@@shelleypriorfineart I didn't check it as such, I have it in my palette, use it a lot, so I just knew. I love your videos, so detailed and informative, I just wish I had more time to watch more of them lol.
@@mikelkirby2791 I generally do stretch my paper. Stretching insures that it will dry flat but it will still wrinkle a bit when it gets wet. Unavoidable, unless the paper is fully glued to a solid surface.
@@mikelkirby2791 PS - I used a block for this demo. The block is glued on 4 sides and is supposed to stay secured, eliminating the need for stretching. I still think my usual stretch method is best but I will use up this block in the meantime.

I like the fact you do your paintings in real time. Thanks. Roxsane
You are such an excellent teacher. Your explanations are spot on. Thank you for sharing your gifts.
So lifelike. Thanks for your brilliant tuition.

Thank you for these great tutorials!
Very nice once again! Thanks a lot !
Fabulous result, thank you for the demonstration. Who knew a cluster of rocks could be such a great painting subject,

So lovely. I use watercolor pencils for the sketch. That way there's no erasing or graphite lines.
Wow
I love your teachings.
It's very inspiring. This week especially!
I often wondered how to paint rocks.
Thank you!
❤❤❤
Definitely, if I had a pallet company, I would put this model back on the market because of you Shelley, I would sell thousands of them! 😂
You look fantastic... you seem refreshed 👍🙏
Welcome back 😊
So good!
Thank you so much ❤
Lovely 😊
Moonglow isn't in the interference range. I love Moonglow, and it does separate if one allows it to, but it isn't one of their interference colours.
@@melaniebaynes2730 note taken. Thanks for checking that

Loved the drawing demonstration. Are we able to sell our paintings? Some artists say no, some say yes, so just wondering.
@@janetalbot6529 Thanks. Sure, go for it!
The red (PR177) in Moonglow is not lightfast. I've confirmed this to myself with my own lightfast test. Bad labeling by Daniel Smith.
Why do you not prepare your watercolor paper which would avoid those peaks and valleys you referred to early on in your tutorial?

@@shelleypriorfineart Thank you for your response. Yes, I occasionally use a block pad and do not stretch my paper either.
