If you can swing it just go back to pay either the motorcycle or your truck off, then retire. I would think it would be hard to go back after being off most of the year. Once I retired I told myself I don't ever want to work again, unless it is something fun and very few hours. I have been retired 6 years and still love not working.

Good luck Tim. I've heard companies will keep people on bc of fmla but when they return to work, there's no required length of time a company has to employ that person so after a couple weeks/months, they are laid off.
Luckily, my company has never laid anyone off since it began many many years ago!

Tim I retired at 58, my advice to you is retire as soon as you can. Tomorrow is not guaranteed! My mom got sick a few years after I retired and I got to help her she passed in 2020, I was there for her.

Hello Tim, that is so nice you've got your coffee, Morgan got a shirt, thats so cool. Yep, that's the problem with FMLA's, if it turns out your off for a long time, they can fill your exact job, and give ya something else for the same pay. Hope that doesn't happen to you, but ya may want to retire sooner then later. I saw it happen in the medical field when I was working. You never know. Here to the last time seen my son it's been at least10 years I had to sell my mother's house to I don't like to say it in this way to get rid of him but that's what it came down to I think what broke the camel's back. Was him pouring water over my head at least two or three times while I sat in my recliner he doesn't like it when he says something and you don't agree. He was a Elder abuser. He was very intimidating when he stood in front of me 6 foot 3 in about240 lb he said my daughter and I are dead to him.🤩🤩

How awful for you. Glad you and your daughter are safe from him. Abusive drunks are totally unpredictable , dangerous and impossible to deal with.
Sorry your son was cruel to you. I've had to stay away from my son when he was drinking. He was verbally abusive to me, lucky for me we didn't live together. He is sober now and things are better.
He said my daughter and I were dead to him I guess I didn't finish that sentence down below but now it's done because he likes the free rent that he had there for 9 years after my mother passed but things went downhill after that the abuse so I had to sell my mother wanted me to sell anyway. He got a good hunk of the money too.

And seeing how memory cards are so light individually, that should have been a heck of a bump when you went over a case for a ton of them. I know, too literal, lol.

You seem to be in good spirits that's good we have to learn to relax and not worry too much it ages one. That picture that I have to your left but the pink hair that was just done like 3 years ago it's not an old picture when I was young people say I don't look 90 years old I tried to stay calm I think that's the thing to do. And then my studio apartment I'm alone and I am calm now for once in my life before I had people moving in moving out family of course my son acting up drunk hollering that was aging me

Luckily, no. My plan stays active even after retirement.
Don’t be surprised if they offer you an early retirement.
We don't have those type of plans just 401k. They would have to fire me which after 27 years, I doubt as it's a great company.
