I can see why these auger trucks are not common. Lots of garbage sits on both sides. Does not handle larger boxes or that piece of plywood.
Personally I don’t like them because they are not sufficient enough to handle the trash mainly due to their design
More common than you think and they have great compaction ratios.
In Europe very common
Cardboard really should be recycled
It’s great with just garbage. Not as effective with bulk waste but still does a great job. I have both types of packing system and this keeps up relatively well.

So what is the procedure you use to deal with things like that plywood that just won't go in during route?

I am surprised that no sorting is done and paper is not collected separately.
Used oil in the trash !!!!! Why isn't waste disposed of separately???

How do you remove the plywood and cardboard that was stuck on the right? Do you have to manually remove it?
The cardboard came loose. :)
It typically comes loose eventually. That can be difficult to deal with at times
