- A long video for those of you who like to see the daily routine in the yard. A bit of everything here from last week. I destroy four forktrucks with the four tonne ball in eight minutes. There’s the usual shearing, tipping, stacking wagons and Sennebogens. Feel free to ask (sensible 😂) questions and comment.
There's just no match for the wrecking ball! My father had one in his yard too, Love it! He also kept cast iron for when the foundry's would need it, no where near the volume you have. That's an impressive pile of cast iron you have. And as everyone comments, your yard is well organized and kept that way. 💯👍
Thank you 👍
Now that gentlemen and ladies, is how you run a yard... West Yorkshire style 👍
😇😂👍
Awesome. Must be fun. Drop the ball on a car if you get those!! lol
Great Videos, I hadn't realised you had so much on here!!!
Great work Mark we need a yard tour now.
Another Sennebogen operator! Me too! With a 12 meter boom, but whe're using it for arbory things in Germany
Awsum as always !!! Wrecking ball 2 ....forktrucks 0 ...... 💥. 😉😎
Great video Mark. I was wondering, have you ever dropped the ball and it´s rolled off? And the sound of the shear cutting, mmm music! I don´t know why I like that sound so much but, I sure do!
Hi Paula, yeah, it’s tried to escape a few times, it just bulldozers through the weights and bales around the edge and goes runabout-with me chasing it in the grab 😂
Hello Sir, can I ask you why do you keep storing tons of iron? I'm running a scrap metal yard in Italy and we try to buy and sell pretty instantly. Thanks for your time.
PS You have a wonderful yard !!
There is a very long reason why I have so much cast iron, I have told the story often but it is too long to print here just now. Like you, I move the scrap that I buy every day as fast as I can process it and load it out. I have to keep some cast iron and short steel for my foundry customers and I can only deliver when they order. If I sold all of the cast iron I would have a massive tax bill. I moved six thousand tonnes from stock last year to make room for the Copex shear so that was a big stock sale.
@@markschofield9494 Thanks sir, I appreciate it.
Do you fill up shipping containers like like some other yards do for export?
We have filled containers previously but it wouldn't work for us at the present time, maybe we will in the future, sorry for the delay in replying, I've only just seen your comment.
Great video Mark, the wreckingball does its job well. The scrap on the end, are they brake discs from cars?
Yes, we have a few thousand tonnes.
How much does that steel ball weigh in tons thanks enjoy watching
it's in the description with the video 👍
Where the fuck did that ball come from ? And how heavy is it ? Nice bit of kit 👍👍👍👍👍
I put the weight in the description under the video, the ball was made for breaking cast and we bought it from a shipbreaking company in Birkenhead dry docks that closed in the 80's, since then, and only a couple of years ago, I bought another two identical ones, we also have three smaller ones for the Jones rope crane that breaks most of the cast in a breaking pit,it can't handle the big ball.
Nice one mate. Nice tidy yard you run there Sir. Love the comment below why do you keep spo much scrap in the yard. When the price is right we sell. LoL. Keep the videos coming Spot on. @@markschofield9494 👍👍
@@markschofield9494 Have you ever made a giant Newton's cradle with the balls?
Easily the most efficient; well run, cleanest yard i have ever seen. Congratulations on your organizational skills!
Thank you very much!
more wreckingball vids please

That wrecking ball is sick!
