Do you think Charles wants his mother to die then?
A a a a this didn’t age well
What a sweet version that is. Now we don't find that kinds of dedication in today's choirs. They sings but the sound doesn't touch our heart❤️.
My absolute favorite rendition. Listen to the harmony.
Will never have another Queen like this majestic woman! God Save The Queen!
Wonderful ! Love seeing the Queen Mother present.....She is so regal and so much loved in her day....Rest In Peace Queen Mother Elizabeth ..
And I love seeing Prince Philip there. Now he’s reunited with Princess Diana, Princess Margret and the Queen mother up there
RIP to you all ❤️
Prince Philip looks so young there.
It's a coincidence that YT recommended to me this today.
RIP Prince Philip
I think he was in his 50’s then. Seeing him really hurts me
This was golden jubilee 1977. He was 56 that year.
@@moniehookemomolu2845Isn't that called silver jubilee? I think golden jubilee is 50 years.
Edit: actually I think this is from the wedding of Charles and Diana in 1981.
I felt the glory in my heart even i am not british. What that means that this anthem were the best
You must be kidding right? that anthem is the most *boring* one in the world.
For me the best part is hearing the boatswain's whistle beginning at 1:04: very nautical, and very fitting for a naval power.
70 years of service. She will be missed. 😢
From America i love you my U. K. brothers and sisters our relationship will never end God bless america and God save the queen 🇺🇸🇬🇧
To this day, I cannot believe that Her Majesty the Queen has died. This is an irreparable loss for me and for the whole world. Rest in peace, Your Majesty😭 It's hard for me to realize this...
Me to
I am still sad for her death. I miss her every single day. May she rest in peace.
Me to I am sad
The grief of Queen Elizabeth’s death made me really sick that I was hospitalised
5 months later and I’m much better than I was. I resumed my duties as Queen quickly as possible and that’s a true Queen. Me and Woody.EXE weren’t ready for this role we’ve got now. Woody.EXE brings up my family very well and Mummy didn’t think he was good enough until he gave her the royal title of Mummy, Princess of Wales after the Queen died
Long may She reign, the most admired monarch in the world!
After her father King George VI. I loved him in The Crown
I can’t believe he’s been gone for so long
For her alone I would be proud to be British.

Cultural revolution under the guise of BLM, racism, sexism etc etc flavors of communism!
@@mieloper1942 oh what a bore, come up with something more original next time.
Recommended after 12 years tf i think i just need to grow up to hear this majestic version
I love this athem thank you for sharing our Queen is great 😀🙏❤👏
I’m doing this for Prince Philip now because he’s sadly gone
Rule Britannia and long live the commonwealth 🇬🇧
As an American this is the most beautiful of all the many to a magnificent woman. 70 years in service to her country. GOD Save the Queen.
Can’t wait for the jubilee celebrations and my 10th anniversary with my beloved 1940 is a month later
Easily the best anthem in the world, God save the Queen I am an Indian btw.
It's his choice to be a British Loyalist, not yours.
@Indian Atheist Then atheists don't understand why they're disliked
Careful, someone's gonna call you a traitor.
Kudos to you for expressing it.
@@JonatasMonte well I dont give a shit to them, I just love this anthem though it doesn't meant that I want Queen rule in my country cause we already had it 😀
We no longer have our Gracious Queen having passed away. We here in UK are mourning our loss. She gave Her life To Her Country and it's people. We will never see her like again. Thank you Your Majesty for 70 years Reign you did so with the mantra never complain never explain. We will miss you terribly, but now you are with your husband, your mother, father and sister, and more importantly with your Maker. RIP.
Always loved this anthem and i was 4 months old when they were wed.
Absolute delight to hear the British national anthem. 'God save the gracious Queen' indeed it's the prayers of the nation that has awarded the Queen a long and prosperous reign. An embodiment of grit, strength, charm and grace. Regal and absolute Royalty.
you're right it's a prayer anthem🤍
Nice to see Princess Margaret and Queen Mum at the beginning.
Princess Diana and Prince Philip too. Missing every royals who died
everytime the anthem plays, her lifespan extends for a fortnight
I think about Prince Philip every time
That was a lovely descant by the choir on the last verse
I wonder how she feels while standing thru this again.
Rest in peace Prince Philip
And Princess Diana. I never knew much about Diana but I knew everyone loved her
Imagine how often she has heard that play...
STUNNING ABSOLUT STUNNING 👑🇬🇧
Long may she reign! Long may the British Empire live!
*commonwealth
@@justinnelson7718 I know, but people can still evoke longevity to a person or nation that has died, like how we still say “Long live the Emperor” for Napoleon
@@Anonymoususer44569 Commonwealth is better since the British empire has bad connotations for most people but I get what you mean
God Save and Bless HM The Queen. Love to our Mother country, from the US :)
We will never hear "God Save The Queen" for this lifetime again.
Unless circumstances put Charlotte on the throne!!!
A new era has arrived for Britain today. As usual HM The Queen remains a rock in stormy seas. 🇬🇧
We are sliding into tyranny and she doesn't seem to be doing very much about it.
it’s like someone singing happy birthday to you. but thousands of people singing it.
Wow! Makes me even more proud to be British. God save the Queen. Long may she reign. 🙏🇬🇧
This blessing of God save the queen worked so well that God doesn't need to save her... she simply will never die
I never thought prince Philip would die this year until he fallen ill and I was worried sick for him
I hope not because I seen a live video of the Queens funeral leaks and I thought she had died. I can’t believe I was tricked by that
Thank you so much for posting this. I still have the original recording of the wedding, and am amazed to see this posted here. And yes, it was a superb rendition of God Save the Queen.
Let's hope this glorious version be played on the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
I really would want to hear this version in 2022.
I hope so and I’ll be doing this on my 10th anniversary with my beloved Second World War in July 2022. Hard to believe it’ll be 10 years next year. Love you my beloved War of 9 years ❤️

If you don’t get it, I noticed 1940 nearly 10 years ago and we learned it in primary school in year 5. And 1940 has been on my side all these years
As an Audiophile - can someone please make enquiries into getting the HD version of this wonderful rendition? It is the best version of God save in existence
Anyone yet? Surely there has to be an original source copy of the wedding
The queen cannot die.
God save the Queen, save Queen Elizabeth II
Even if the world explodes, may the Queen of the world be saved!

3 months late but thank you from the UK. Such a stressful time this is
You forgot Fiji and India on that list but hey, you cant have everything in life.

💜😮HMTQ ,am not British but this is the best Anthem ever
Long Live Her Majesty The Queen! And May Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales rest in eternal peace
Happy Birthday, Ma'am.
The moment at 1:03 😩👌 *chefs kiss*
This is absolutely phenomenal. 0:28-0:33 is possibly the most beautiful sound you could ever hear. “Majestic” is the only way to describe it, fitting for Her Majesty. As mentioned previously: it’s very, veryyyy “Disney”...which is a huge compliment. John Williams comes to mind too. Too bad they don’t quite know who composed this piece...it’s up there with the best of them

Arguably the best arrangement of all time.
I agree, although the Queen didn’t seem to!
