I've little doubt that whenever the boys were with their father during these holiday visits Charles would certainly have found time to slip away to meet up with his the then Mrs. Parker-Bowles. I didn't even realize when Meghan and Harry got married. But this wedding I watched. I was fresh out of High School at the time and for a minute I felt almost bereft. I've always heard my mom talk about Princess Diana's wedding. So to watch Kate marry a Prince was like moving back and forward in time at once. But the most memorable thing for me was watching CNN's Isha Sesay interview citizens outside Buckingham Palace the night before this wedding. Back when I thought journalism was a very noble profession.
My mom watched the live of Diana and Charles by accident after the night shift at the hospital nursery. Though she said she loved watching history happen!
Stunning once-in-a-lifetime wedding entrance, the bells, the choir was superb. It was tastefully and beautifully filmed, the view from above put to great effect. Everything about this spectacular wedding was perfect, everyone involved was on top of their game, seemed comfortable with all the hoopla. Lovely couple. The British at their best.
They didn't look uncomfortable, there's such a thing as wedding nerves especially when the whole world is watching. They were absolutely loving and genuine like real couples.
The BRF and the commonwealth peoples really don’t know how lucky they are to have these events. It is intensely difficult to practice choral music, let alone perform it live for millions! I play many instruments and sing and neither I or anyone else I know that makes music has the cadence, texture, timing, or control these musicians have. The idea of it even being possible for someone to compose something this grand is so insane to imagine. A 7 part harmony? Absolutely insane!
One of my favorites parts was when “I Was Glad” started! what a beautiful song, perfect for Catherine to walk the aisle 💖💖💖 The most amazing and beautiful weeding ever!
Catherine's dress is stunning and so beautifully made! The folds of the fabric on the train! The movement & fall of the skirt! I love that the comentators were so happy when they found out who the designer was. The entrance!

I'll never forget waking up at 2 am to watch all the live broadcasts on TV. It was such a special moment. My favorite part will always be at the very end when they do the aerial view as the choir hits the final high note. It was magic. Still gives me goosebumps.

Kate's dress emphasized her 'English rose' look; Meghan's dress suited her sleeker style, and Eugenie's dress with it's bare back proudly showing her scoliosis scars, and emerald tiara complementing her green eyes, was very "her" as well. Let's not compare them - leave that nonsense for the tabloids.

Stunning once-in-a-lifetime wedding entrance, the bells, the choir was superb. It was tastefully and beautifully filmed, the view from above put to great effect. Everything about this spectacular wedding was perfect, everyone involved was on top of their game, seemed comfortable with all the hoopla. Lovely couple. The British at their best.
They didn't look uncomfortable, there's such a thing as wedding nerves especially when the whole world is watching. They were absolutely loving and genuine like real couples.
The BRF and the commonwealth peoples really don’t know how lucky they are to have these events. It is intensely difficult to practice choral music, let alone perform it live for millions! I play many instruments and sing and neither I or anyone else I know that makes music has the cadence, texture, timing, or control these musicians have.
The idea of it even being possible for someone to compose something this grand is so insane to imagine. A 7 part harmony? Absolutely insane!

My favorite part will always be at the very end when they do the aerial view as the choir hits the final high note. It was magic. Still gives me goosebumps.

I agree that we shouldn't make comparisons. Each bride was different and each gown suited each princess in their own way. Kate's dress emphasized her 'English rose' look; Meghan's dress suited her sleeker style, and Eugenie's dress with it's bare back proudly showing her scoliosis scars, and emerald tiara complementing her green eyes, was very "her" as well. Let's not compare them - leave that nonsense for the tabloids.

It is 10 years later as I watch this and observe the progression of maturity, loving parents to three children, hard working Royals who value and accept a life of service to their country.
