Looks and sounds great! Sure brought back the memories of my motocross bikes from the seventies. Many people don't realize how fast and powerful those two stroke open class bikes are. It is hard to tell for sure but it sounds a little rich. You might try raising the clip on the main needle one or two notches. That will help with the idle too. Thanks for this trip back in time! Good luck with her!

Great bike. I have a restored 83 500 XC. The only thing I can see is your bike has a 84 seat. That makes the seat/tank/side panel geometry a little off. But yours looks really good, and sounds great. Enjoy.

Must go pretty hard being a big 2 stroke. I think I have seen one of these a few years ago in Australia, owner was telling how nuts it was.
Yep they are pretty fast, and loud and vibrates like crazy...but fun :)

Didn't take you long to get her up and running, looks great and sounds great. Love the 2 stroke especially when you hit the power band, it's like flicking a NOS button. Is that a bicycle computer that you put on it as that is what I used to do with inaccurate speedos?

You can still refer to me as Irish. First time I fitted a bicycle computer on a motorcycle was my Honda Hornet which had a 100% accurate analog speedo, also had one on my old PGO Gmax scooter that was about 10% out.

Die Kiste läuft doch viel zu fett bei Teil-und Vollast. Hört sich an, als wenn der Choke dauerhaft aktiviert ist(da sie selbst im Standgas nicht sauber läuft)-mal Bowdenzug kontrollieren. Sonst den Vergaser einstellen, bzw. kleinere Hauptdüse und Nadel magerer stellen.

goXedit actually that's the first thing i did. Every video i watch i read the description even before pressing play. It's a fresh re-build the case is full of oil and needs to be ran to clear the damn thing out. it will still hit the band. Not hard the first time but it's there.
It even sounds fun. You are going to get more women into motocross by describing it as a "big giant vibrator" Ha.
