I love seeing both your and Sage's mealprep (I'm a mum as well) :) We have a blackout curtains with suction cups on them at home because during the summer it's not dark enough even with the shutters closed. If we ever go on holiday we'll definitely take the blinds with us, they are the gro anywhere blinds and I can really recommend them.

I'm not here to shame anyone on their decisions as that is exactly what it is, each individuals decision and preference. I am not saying ALL jarred baby food is bad but there are some that have had many issues in the past and present. My preference for my child will be home made baby food and organic baby food jars when convenience is needed. What you feel is good for your baby is your choice and what I feel is good for my baby is my choice.
That is a good idea about using the unused bathroom. It is clean and gives you and hubby privacy! Love watching you prp food. My kids are waaaaaay past that stage, youngest is 11 yr old. I wish there were stuff like this when mine were little.

I totally get the playpen/bed in the bathroom. When my kids were Sage's age (10 years ago), and we would travel to Florida, I totally did the same thing. I would do it because the bathroom fan would act as white noise. We didn't have a noise machine. It was also quiet and serene for them.

We totally let our first baby sleep in a closet on our beach trip! As long as it’s on the A/C snd has a vent it’s just a small room, lol. This time we made sure to rent a place with a fully interior bedroom, no windows!

I believe you’re not supposed to use salt but can use other seasonings.

Yes no Salt as their bodies are too young to process it. Sugar should be avoided too and in the UK they say no honey too before 12 months.
