    Thank you. I just used this video for my indoor rowing workout. I played at 1.25 speed and it’s perfect for a moderate pace. High quality video and beautiful scenery. Long videos like this are much needed for the indoor rowing community. It gets tired snd bore staring at the performance monitor screen.

    This video is so beautiful!! I am so grateful to be able to see your adventure! Please load more videos of your kayak trips! This one of Kachess lake is especially beautiful and peaceful. It is a mercy to share your adventures with some of us who are not well enough to have these fun trips ourselves. Please, please load more of your adventures!! I really enjoyed the natural, silent aspect of the footage, no extra talking, or extra introductions, etc - just the sounds of nature along with a silent google image map so we know where we are going on the trip. Man, this would be great to experience in VR. Again, a very sincere thanks to you.

      Thank you so much for your great comments. We love kayaking and sharing our videos, and really appreciate the great feedback and suggestions. We are working on more videos currently and will be releasing shortly. We also look forward to many more great trips this year! Best wishes to get well soon. With our peaceful, relaxing kayaking video series we are really going for sharing the "presence" of the experience so viewers can experience something as close as possible to the real experience. Interesting suggestion for VR, thank you.

    I also appreciate that it’s really the whole trip you are taking us on with you as you paddle along. It’s a nice, long filming with great resolution - so sharp. It doesn’t seem too cut down or condensed at all - it feels like a fully fleshed out trip … Almost as if the viewer is there with you with very few cuts. Beautifully Done!! Thank You again!!🙏🙏❤️❤️☀️☀️😀😀

      Thanks again for the great comment. With these videos we try to do minimal edits so we can share as much of the trip as possible and shoot the video in 4K UHD to share the experience in as high a resolution as possible. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

    This is fast becoming one of my favourite videos on TH-cam! Any time I feel like I just want to relax during my work day or even at home, I now either meditate, or watch this video! I love it. My husband has even started watching it with me!
    I feel like I'm there paddling along myself. LOVE that there's no music and it's just the sounds of the kayak and nature. As Smith has said in a previous comment - I love that it's the whole trip and the 4k/colour/quality is gorgeous. I also love that it doesn't show too much of the boat - too much can get distracting which puts me off some other videos. But this is ideal!!
    I never thought I'd get so excited about a kayak video (literally never been kayaking 😂 - although you may have inspired me to start!)
    Thank you so much. I really hope you'll do more videos like this!! ☀

      @@PresenceVideography Yes the video you link is much better for me especially when the camera zooms out a bit and you can see more of the kayak as it moves through the water and over things under the surface. The sequence from 1:25 to 1:30 in the linked video is what I mean, I really like that view.
      1:55 - 2:05 is great.

    I live in Seattle and I am heading there tomorrow (June 29, 2024) to kayak. I got Delta 12.10 kayak and was wondering are there any spots on the lake that I should be cautious? I am driving there and I got annual WA Discovery Pass. This will be my first trip to this lake.

    • @PresenceVideography
      @PresenceVideography  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Lake Union or Lake Washington? Of course in lakes no tides or currents so main things to watch for are wind, we like < 5 knots, boat traffic, and cold water shock for which consider a wetsuitbor drysuit. We like paddling along the shore as that's where all the interesting stuff to see is anyway, and it's safer. Hope that helps. Have fun.

    • @danijeldjukovic2156

      @@PresenceVideography I am heading to Kachess Lake early in the morning. I do the same on lakes, I stay within 150-200 yards from shores for safety. I grew up on water and am a great swimmer, but cold waters can kill quickly no matter how good swimmer one is. I do not wear any wet suits , but of course I always wear a life jacket. I paddle solo since few friends that I got are not into water sports.

      Not unusual for later in the summer, but this year it's happening even in June! This kayak adventure is definitely best when lake is full.

    How long will takes from boat launch to island?

    • @PresenceVideography
      @PresenceVideography  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Distance is about 1.1 miles so 25m at an average paddling speed. Mornings better for lighter wind. Check lake level before you go: www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/yakima/yaktea.html. Mid to late summer it gets low. We recommend spring or early summer.

  • @lederppz6202
    @lederppz6202 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Is it always calm there or does it get windy ?

    • @PresenceVideography
      @PresenceVideography  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It does sometimes get windy. Mornings are usually more calm. Check weather and I'd recommend a day with winds below 5kn. Also, check lake levels especially late summer as they can drop considerably: www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/yakima/yaktea.html.

    • @lederppz6202
      @lederppz6202 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is there an advantage or disadvantage to shallower lakes? Also thanks so much for your response. Love your video!

    • @PresenceVideography
      @PresenceVideography  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lederppz6202 thanks for the great feedback. Kayaks can go in water as shallow as 6 inches or so, depending on the specific kayak so flexible to go in deep or shallow. Thats said, from beauty of the environment standpoint we prefer full lakes 😎 Also, more distance to carry for launch and pull out if lake levels low. Right now Kachess is 95% full so as beautiful as ever.

    Can you camp at the waterfall?

    • @PresenceVideography
      @PresenceVideography  ปีที่แล้ว

      We have seen campers there. We recommend check with local rangers office on any rules or permits required.

    • @coffinshaker
      @coffinshaker ปีที่แล้ว

      I do it every summer. Best to go on a weekday though, that and one other spot at the north end of the lake are always claimed on the weekend. Get day passes ($5) for parking from a ranger station and park your vehicle just north of the campground and you can launch there as well.
