Hello~ i would suggest going in early, arrive ten min before the opening regardless and then chill out by the beach :)

There are two main entrance to the lake inside the campground. The site you see in the first half of the video is by campground #1 :)

Thanks for the video! I am camping next week for my birthday and I want it to be hot enough to swim the whole time. How hot was it when you were there? Also, did you arrive right at check in? Is that why the line was so long?

Happy early b day:)!! It was hot enough last time. I think 80 degrees is perfect, so I hope it is hot enough the weekend you go. I went at 12, but they wouldnt let anyone in before 2. I suggest lining up at 1:35 ish as cars would line up starting then. That is why the line was so long.

Thank you! There are no mosquitoes here, which is another reason I love the place! I also suggest stargazing at night by the lake as well. It is surprisingly not windy even at night. Take a mat to lie down and watch the stars, it is amazing!
