I habe a hard time spotting with the G2, maybe I'm blind, I turned on the dot markings and with them it's OK, but flying the ww2 planes looks way worse when I fly them, need a lot more practice to be that smooth
@@nighthawk8104 I find most of my targets by staring at a chunk of sky for several seconds looking for moving black pixels. It is definitely a practiced skill in the current state of this game. Hopefully they address the spotting difficulties soon.
I play IL-2 but am always enticed by DCS for its visuals. What do you like about DCS compared to IL-2? I hear servers are underpopulated in DCS. Is that true?

how do you set full tracers ammo for the cannon? is it a mod? thanks :)
No mods. Just the default ammo belt. Not every 30mm has a tracer, maybe the youtube compression made it look like so!
I was firing both the machine guns and cannon.
What VR headset do you use?
HP Reverb G2. Note this video is a track replay with the graphics turned all the way up.

I also own IL-2. IL-2 has more ww2 assets but the flying physics of DCS is much better. I feel much more immersed when playing DCS
