  • Welcome to the Wise Owl Paint Party. On today’s video we're sharing our steps for how to use a "Rolling & Tipping" technique to paint on "Refurbished Gentleman" One Hour Enamel (OHE) on a large vertical surface, and in this case, a door.. We’ll walk you through the steps from a primed door, to a fully rolled (using a 3/8th" Nap Roller) and tipped (using a Cling On B12) finished door. The terminology for this technique is also called "flagging" or "laying off" paint. The main reason for using this technique is to paint a large vertical or even flat surface and get a flawless flat surface after rolling. As rolling will cause bumps and sometimes bubbles, which can be resolved by tipping.
We hope you enjoyed this informational How To video for Rolling & Tipping OHE, and if you try your own DIY makeover on a door using OHE & Cling On Brushes, be sure to share your project with us. We’d love to feature those who have tried our products on our different platforms.
