    Awesome boat. That's the one I would get over all the glass boats

    I love it!!!! But I have a hard time paying that much for an aluminum boat. I've always purchased glass boats.

    Hi Jason, I wanna get the 1875 Pro V Bass one day. Can you recommend the correct Atlas jackplate for the 1875? Would it be the same size as the one on your 2075?
    Thanks!

      Check with your dealer, but most of what I've seen on these boats has been a 10-inch jp. I had a 1875 before this, and had a 6-inch jp. It worked fine as well.

    hey man nice rig.
    how much of a difference would you say the 2075 handles the rough water compared to the 1875?
    im trying to decide wich size to get.
    i fish mainly bigger and rougher water but i dont think i need the size of the 2075 but if its makes a huge difference i would definatly consider it.

      It makes a difference. The 2075 definitely manages big waves better, but the 1875 was great too, and better than any glass boat.

    Do you recommend raptors over talons to hold this boat, most of the videos and pictures have 1 or 2 talons and never raptors. I’m very so-so right now on which anchor to buy. Any advice?

      We have a 1875 variant if that helps too

    • @JasonHowlandFishing
      @JasonHowlandFishing  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've never had Talons on a boat, so I can't speak to how well they work. In my mind, the Raptors are more solid in holding you to the bottom. They are ROCK SOLID. They also adjust to the type of bottom you are in. I also had PowerPoles on my previous 1875 Pro V Bass, and they worked well too, but I don't think they were quite as solid as the Raptors. One benefit of the Talons would be the tilt bracket, which would make it much easier getting in and out of the garage.

      Would you think One raptor could hold an 1875 pretty well?

    • @JasonHowlandFishing
      @JasonHowlandFishing  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      One raptor could hold you in place, but the issue with using just one shallow water anchor, whether its a Raptor or Talon, is that the bow of the boat has a tendency to move or "spin" more if there is wind. @@Galactic-jew22

    With 8 ft raptors and 250 pro v does the boat fit in 7x16 garage door opening?

    • @JasonHowlandFishing
      @JasonHowlandFishing  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My garage door is at 6 feet 11 inches. The boat fits barely under the door with the motor trimmed down. I have to obviously deploy the raptors halfway to get them under the door.

    Are they actually better is a shallow water? They seem to be the same weight as the ranger?

    • @JasonHowlandFishing
      @JasonHowlandFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I had a Champion glass boat before and I'm able to access shallower water in the Lund and the hole shot is phenomenal. I've got the Lund up and on plane extremely quick in 1.5 to 2 feet of water.

    What kind of prop and pitch do you have? I’m considering switching to get better rough water performance , thinking a mercury bravo LT…

    • @JasonHowlandFishing
      @JasonHowlandFishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Tempest 21 pitch is what I have. It's what's recommended by Mercury for that motor, and haven't had any issues in rough water.

    How’s the boat in the wind?

    • @JasonHowlandFishing
      @JasonHowlandFishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're asking about rough water, the deep V hull is great. You don't spear waves. If you're asking about how it fishes in the wind, it's not like a typical aluminum john boat that is hard to control in the wind. It's just as good as any fiberglass boat.

    • @GopherHayes
      @GopherHayes 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cool I was more concerned with how it fishes in the wind. Cross winds in current- rivers & Great Lakes
