What do you think of Apple Watch Series 7 and do you use an Apple Watch and if so which one? Do you plan to upgrade this year? Thanks for watching, it is always appreciated.
This man is so humble. Like I appreciate his honesty in his reviews and just the positivity you get from watching his videos. It’s definitely unlike other you tubers on here. Keep it up Aaron! 👍🏻👍🏻
The only reason I switched from 6 to 7 was the keyboard. There’s a lot of times where I need to respond immediately but discreetly and trying to draw the letters with my right hand as a lefty is awful. The fact that I can type or swipe instead is amazing. Before this I upgraded a couple of times to get cellular when that came out and to get the ECG when that came out. This is my 4th Apple Watch and I’m still amazed how far they’ve come since the original
I guess he didn’t question why his recent backup wasnt on his phone to restore the watch with. Well let me tell you why because it happened to me and for my daughter upgrading from an Apple Watch 6 to a 7. We both had unpaired our watches as I have done about 15 times over the years when at that point it saves a backup of your Apple Watch to your phone but for both of us it didn’t not show our recent backups. I have 15 backups from over the years but none for the past year that was listed, my daughter had one appear which was from 4 years ago when she had an Apple Watch 3. I found out the problem is that it’s shipped with watch OS 8.0.0 and obliviously it had bugs in it. You need to set your watch up either as new or restore it from whatever backup you have if is lists one then upgrade your watch OS to 8.0.1 and then unpair your watch and pair it again and you will see all your recent backups that you can restore from…..yup would have been nice if apple let people know about that….
The 7 is my first Apple Watch and I’m actually pretty amazed. It’s smaller than I thought which is a good thing, I thought the 45mm would feel huge but it’s very slim. Taking me a while to get my head around settings for notifications and sleep/auto screen off, but I’ll get there. So much more comprehensive compared with anything I’ve had before, from Huawei Android to AmazfitX more recently.
I have the series 6, and will be getting the 7 in the midnight. I like the larger screen and the fact that I can add more complications is a plus for me.
@@ctcg1578 I usually sell mine on eBay or through someone I know. I have the stainless steel 6 and apple was only offering 275 I believe…put it on eBay get anywhere from 400 bucks..especially if u throw in a few bands and lots of ppl want the OG box.
@@tiggerlove12 That’s a brilliant idea! I usually do Facebook marketplace or OfferUp but I usually like to upgrade when they have chassis redesigns. I hope you enjoy man!
Got mine today. Like it - had the series 6 which was outstanding anyway, so all in all quite a minimal upgrade. I like the bigger screen, the new keyboard feature, new watch faces etc. I also like that the charger is USB C
I think I’ll go for the 7 from my 6, as I’ll still get a decent sale price from the 6 towards it. That’s one of the better things about owning Apple products, resale values are strong all the time.
Just upgraded from. Series 5 to 7 in stainless steel….. great review and completely agree ~ No major change except the larger display, which I am loving. Really happy with the upgrade 🥰🙌
I picked up mine Yesterday and I am very happy with the series 7 especially because coming from the series 3 it is a massive upgrade. Definitely worth the money. I got the Midnight Aluminium GPS only and a Graphite Milanese loop, this band is so good I’m loving it. I have also ordered a Midnight Aluminium GSP and Cellular for my son’s year 12 graduation which is in 5 weeks so I hope it arrives before his graduation ceremony.
Upgrading this year to series 7 stainless steel or titanium from my current stainless steel series 4. It still looks great except for some minor scratches on the case. I think the titanium case might not scratch as much so I may give that one a try this year.
I was expecting this - bigger screen, faster charging and all the trimmings. I’m coming from a series 2. I ordered 45mm stainless steel with Milanese loop band
I'm currently a Series 6 person. I've had three different Apple Watch Series before this one. I have the Series 7 on order. I debated quite a bit - why do I need a new one since my 6 was purchased in November, 2021? The main reason was the bigger screen. There are days when the eyesight says "what's that number, etc?" I figure the screen will be a little bit larger and I won't need to hunt my glasses down all the time. But, because I debated back and forth, I have to now wait until the middle of December. A Christmas present to me. Thank you for your reviews. Sunday night is my catch up on TH-cam video night and your videos are always the first that I watch. You are a wealth of knowledge.
I will probably stay with the Series 5 for now. It still works flawlessly, not withstanding large fingers. Two years old it still does a 12 hour shift and a couple hours of transitions with all the bells and whistles turned on before it gets docked at home or the hotel. Maybe the Series 8, time and features will tell.
I got a series 6 and I’m happy with it for the time being. I don’t feel it’s necessary to upgrade just yet because the improvements are not that great.
Got my 1st AW today. I’m liking it so far. I got the budget AW7 with aluminium in midnight. I’m new to smartwatches. Having had a Fitbit before which I won. But the watch itself, after owning for a few months was a piece of junk.
I ordered the series 7 watch, mine will not be coming until around November 24. My birthday is on the 21st, so happy birthday to me! Can’t wait, stepping up from series 4. I missed the preorder lunch by a week.
Have never own Apple Watch ⌚️ before because I think my 11pro max can do anything as the watch does But you have push me to develop the interest of owing one…and will like to start from series 7 ….very soon. Thanks Mr Zollo…I call you home 🤣👍
Bought my Series 6 just a few month ago before 7 was announced so I don’t think I’ll be upgrading sadly but I’m really happy though with my 6. I upgraded from a 3 and it was a nice change.
The reason you don’t see a current backup is you were probably on Watch OS 8.01 and that is a newer firmware from what shipped on the watch. I set mine up as new, updated it then reset and backed up from recent restore. As far as bands go, the graphite stainless steel band from Nomad looks awesome! It also has the same DLC coating. The only downside is it’s a bit of a fingerprint magnet! I upgraded from a Series 5 to the Series 7 and I’m very happy with the upgrade. For me the larger display, addition of keyboard and fast charging made it worth it.
It’s underwhelming as a Series 5 owner if I’m honest. Bigger screen is nice but after seeing it in person and in videos the screen isn’t dramatically bigger and that’s really all that’s new besides some niceties. I’m hoping next year we get improved battery life and at least a new health sensor.
How am I supposed to CHARGE up my new Apple Watch??? I have that same cord with the circle that I know clicks to the watch, but WHERE do I put the other end??? They don't send u something for it to go into electricity. :( Pretty cheap after spending so much!!!
As soon as I picked mine up I wore it for about an hour without any protection and then I got home and put on a LK screen protector and spigen rugged armor bumper
I remember the stainless steel watch box used to be different from the aluminium, the box for the stainless steel used to be squared and there used to be a case inside. should do that again
Bestbuy still has the series 6 at the same price as the series 7. How much will the series 6 typically go down in price? Might get a 6 for my first Apple Watch
I’m definitely going for the 7 just for the quality of life changes I find myself replying to messages from my watch a lot n the extra screen space n keyboard will make it easier
