AJ is one of my favorite characters. She’s the lesbian mom friend that holds people accountable for their bullshit (my headcanon and plenty of others’ headcanon as well). Her parents died when she was young and her character is an amazing depiction of how someone can be after loss of a loved one. She has anxiety, she’s overprotective of her sister, she has trouble accepting help from others because she feels obligated to take care of everything, and she tends to overwork herself. She’s probably the mom friend because she was forced to grow up so fast. I love her so much. 😭

I remember this one episode in FIM where there were a whole ton of copies of Pinkie Pie, and the way they found the real pinkie was to make them watch paint dry and the ones who lost focus were the fakes. And I just remember how determined Pinkie was, she wanted to be with her friends again so he put aside her impulses in order to do so. I never liked how they made her element be laughter, I felt it kinda did her a disservice because of how flat it made her seem even though she is always unapologetically herself.
