Hey. I saw that on facebook. Jasper right? Epic find dude. Personally I find as they get too big and old they lose a lot of flavour, start to rot or get riddled with bugs, not all the time but often. Still it's fun finding monster porcinis for the bragging rights alone :D
I can forgive someone wandering onto acreage by mistake where the fences have fallen down or are not there are all. But to actually jump over a fence. Mate. Not cool!
@@dannyconelly1454 Yeah I have accidently wandered into other blocks by mistake, sometimes in huge acreage you can get a bit lost. But in all honesty it's usually pretty obvious. These days I make sure to double check the boundaries on my mates blocks before going off trekking, don't want a cranky farmer to shoot me up with rock salt lol
Use wicker basket to collect porcini because u will leave spores all around while u are walking
We spread plenty of them around and also thats not quite how mushrooms work. You should check out our "mushroom foraging myths busted" series :)
@@ChooRoo in Italy u have to walk around with basket or specific backpack
Awesome content just stumbled onto your channel. Great to find someone local. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for saying G'day :)
Definitely seems easy to find them when you know the right locations
I love your videos guys
I found one under a chestnut tree :)
You should try to let them grow I found one that was 2.65 kg and made it on 9 News

I reckon 0.5 kg is the perfect size for Porcini
Great video and wonderful porcini
Ciao bruno
Knocked out the mushroom pasta from a previous video. Cracker dinner, thanks.
Right on! We are just experimenting and sometimes it works out haha
Is that plastic bag you are carrying mushrooms in?
Awesome advice. Had a few randoms jump the fence to our looking for mushies. Bit bloody rude.

@@ChooRoo if it's the one I think you're talking about he's pretty chilled and doesn't care. Come for a beer next time. Cheers bro!
Can you find these in brisbane?
I don't think so, these tend to be a cool climate boi
@@quinnjames4099ok thankyou
You're correct. People are lazy and do not want to do any walking. I find them at Kuitpo, and people I know find them all the way in Second Valley.
Just got to get out there man!
