My guess is that the og has too many movements with the arms close to the body and that might make it difficult for the Kinect ( I feel like every jd player u see plays w/ the Kinect) to pick up. Idk how much that kind of stuff goes into the creation of new maps but it probably didn’t help
@@JoeMama-rh8boThere aren’t that many arm movements anyways in the official, it would be because it’s copyrighted, that would make the most sense since kpop dances from around that time wouldn’t use official choreo
i think that party rock anthem was rly underwhelming because the song was rly popular and also in the music video there's a bunch of energetic dancing but in the game you can't rly call most of it dancing

@@felixma9192 you should know that Just Dance back then was a lot more simple, they didn’t do lots of unique and complicated moves, that’s why Party Rock Anthem isn’t so energetic

@@felixma9192 I mean moves that take a lot of movement and practice and aren’t so repetitive. Rasputin is tiring but it is repetitive and doesn’t have a lot of different moves
They gave it a mashup which at least improved it.
Fun fact: Jeremy paquet doesn’t work with just dance anymore, but he’s still amazing (as a tattoo artist).

For me, it was Fancy by TWICE (which surprisingly isn't in the video). The original choreography wasn't overall super complicated, and the dance in the chorus/refrain were super iconic. The JD version really missed out on including the "Fancy, woo!" part.

My number one most hated JD choreo is a tie between Shape of You and Señorita.
I would say Shape of You because I think the music itself have a lot of potential for a great choreo but they got really lazy, even the map is terrible, looks like a Windows Media Player visualizer. Senorita I think people expected too much because many people love the song but I think it wouldnt allow something too different than it was offered
My personal frustration is livin la vida loca, I think it is a great song but the choreo is too silly and I hate when Ubisoft does this, at least Maria is great and all of the alternate versions are equally great as well.
Señorita and Shape of you kind of need to be hard, but if Ubisoft thought before in making an alt for both songs then it wouldn’t be so disappointing

run the world is SO repetitive, that last part got me embarrassed. run the world and last friday night are the only repetitive choreos in the game

Run The World is only repetitive because it was originally made for JD2021, where it was during an era of repetitive and boring choreos (no offense). If it wasn’t made for JD2021, and instead, was made exclusively for JD2022 a year later, it would’ve had a better choreography.
Love Story...It was SO DISAPPOINTING because it was the first time we had Taylor in Just Dance and it was so boring, slow, and repetitive. It was the biggest disappointment for me.
1:18 I agree too hard with this one. I was always mad that my favorite Bruno Mars song got a Choreo and background that was too kiddish, slow, and seriously out of theme with the song

Eu gosto da coreografia, mas sempre odiei o visual de tudo. Mantiveram o fundo preto e branco do original, mas deram uma roupa simples amarela/laranja pra coach, tipo? Ou eles surtavam no visual como sempre ou mantinham o original, assim ficou algo como shape of you
The worst bit about Born This Way Alt is just how ambitious the original version was for the time, like loads of camera movements, crowds of coaches, etc. and how just “fine” the alt is
I do disagree with JD2019 I thought New Rules was fun when I used to dance it, honestly the only disappointment in JD2019 was the new style of menu being introduced and Shaky Shaky
Yeah, I totally agree with u with Shape Of You. The song is so good bur the backgrounds, coach is really bad. However, I love New Rules, it didn't disappoint me, also Senorita and Run the world(girls) are good 2. In JD21, the song that disappoint me is Get Get Down, and in JD22 is You Make Me Feel(Mighty Real)

Outra do JD2021 que foi uma puta decepção foi Runaway (U & I). Tinha de tudo pra ser uma das melhores músicas da edição, mas infelizmente ganhamos dois power rangers (o azul parecia que precisava de uma dose de adrenalina de tão sem energia que tava) de cores genéricas, com um distanciamento ridículo de longe entre os dois, e os passos nada inovadores (inclusive no refrão). As únicas coisas que salvaram esse enterro foram o passo da parte do
"U & I" e o cenário incrivelmente belíssimo

They don't usually use the original choreography cause not all players can dance like that (Single Ladies by Beyonce)
They make steps a bit closer to the original and make some simple steps that is doable to others..
Yes but there are other factors as well:
1) official choreos ARE COPYRIGHTED, it is possible for Ubisoft or the record label have access to the song but not the choreo attached to it. To do this it is needed that the choreographer agree as well, that is why if you stop to notice, official choreos on JD have the name of the choreographer on the subtitle (ex.: Applause Official choreo by Richy Jackson)
2) Game limitations: Most times the official choreo abuse offbeats and use body parts that the game doesnt recognize. In all versions of Just Dance the game tracks the upper body and not so much the lower half even on Kinect, if the dance use legs extensively to the point of not using arms it doesnt make sense to put in the game.
3) Game balancing: people forget that everytime that a new Just Dance is released they absolutely have to put as many choreo in the most varied complexity levels as possible so sometimes they prefer to adapt a easier choreo and let other songs have difficult dances. If they decided to put just official versions it would raise the difficulty of the game overall.

Just dance 1: Surfin' bird/ I get around ( Surfin bird is a bit creepy. and I get around is cringy )

Just dance 3: Land of 1000 dances ( Kids mode? IDk, but cringe )
Just dance 4: Everybody needs somebody to love/ Istanbul ( Weird )
Just dance 2014: Prince ali/ Just a gigolo/ Se#y and I know it ( Prince ali and Se#y and i know it are weird. And Just a gigolo is outdated )
Just dance 2015: Nothing (About Your on my mind, it's awesome )
Just dance 2016 and 2017: I don't know the songlist too much, so nothing.
Just dance 2018: Every. Single. Kids. Mode. Dance.
Just dance 2019: Marco ( the costume and the dance... )
Just dance 2020 Taki taki alt ( This is too much cringe )
Just dance 2021: You've got a friend in me ( I think i don't have to explain it. )
Just dance 2022: Nothing
Just dance 2023: Anything i do / Top of the world ( Anything i do gives me Just dance kids vibes, top of the world too, but the song is awesome)

JD1: Mashed Potato Time
JD2: Literally every song except for a few.
JD3: Idk, probably the Mario one, but it's a good song.
JD4: Ummmmmmmmm---I don't know there are a lot.
JD2014: Did we really need Careless Whisper.
JD2015: That weird Greek one or the Tetris one.
JD2016: Do I really need to say it? Irish Meadow Dance and Angry Birds.
JD2017: They're all good, but Hips Don't Lie Alt.
JD2018: How Far I'll Go (sorry)
JD2019: The game itself was a disappointment.
JD2020: Honestly, High Hopes was kinda dull, but it's not my least favorite in the game.
JD2021: Say So, Lacrimosa, and Señorita. The game itself is a disappointed. (Oh, yeah, sorry Juice Alt, I forgot you existed).
JD2022: HUMAN. LIKE WTF WHAT IS THAT SONG EWWWWW

Land of the 1000 dances is not dissapoiting to me. It has a lot of energy and fun movements. It makes sense to do the crocodile while your character is one and it's not difficult. I like it, always had fun when i dance it too. I did it last Saturday and smiles during the entire song 😀
Monster mash, indeed, had weird movements. The zombie didn't dance, he moved his arms randomly and the middle part was really strange.
Dancing on New Rules the first time really made me enter the JD Community....

Btw… Run The World was originally made for JD2021, which was during an era of repetitive & boring choreos. That’s why it sort of flopped in a game with improved choreos.

Granted, it was the first title which is a pretty bad game, but the choreography is very lazily put together rather having you dance like Noodle did in the music video.

I LOVEDand laughed hard in the roast of New Rules, but I am aware that the Extreme of Pound the Alarm got the award for most dissapointint song in JD2014. I do think it is a bit easier than expected for an Extreme choreo, but to me, Blurred Lines Extreme isn’t just dissapointing, It’s too easy to be called “Extreme”.

3: Night boat to Cairo, Party Rock Anthem (no shuffling unless you go to mashup),

2014: In the summertime, Love boat, Prince Ali, The Way,
2015: Don't worry, be happy (I don't completely dislike it though, I mainly dislike it's execution)
2016: Angry Birds song, Junto a ti
2017: Wake me up before yo go go alt(nuff said), Don't wanna know

Let's be honest: some of the most disappointing routines on this list are not correct. So in 2016 the worst is Balkan blast remix(wtf they added it for?), in 2020 it's Baby shark(again for what?) and in 2022 it's Chacarron.
Well um, Baby Shark is currently the most listened song on YT and a song for kids to buy the game, so the song deserves its spot and its inclusion is pretty obvious

The dance that disappointed me the most is probably Lush Life. You could easily convince me the choreo was made for an entirely different song and i’d believe you. The moves are so slow and so boring for a really upbeat song and i really do not know what they were thinking.
I will never forget my disappointment with Señorita, it’s when I released 2021 would be another leap down in quality
