Just made these biscotti and they look just like yours. I need to get some flaked almonds to make the crescents aswell. I only used 1/8 tspn almond essence as I used the extract which is much stronger. Thanks for sharing, these would have to be one of my favourite biscuits!

Absolutely love these! Learnt to make these with my MIL using this recipe over the festive period, they went down so well with our family that we ended up making 5 or 6 batches!
I made them with leftover egg whites from your Carbonara recipe and they are so delicious! I couldn't get almond essence at my local grocery store, so instead I put just a little vanilla essence and spiced up my dough with a little nutmeg powder. If you're feeling experimental, the nutmeg really compliments the almond flavors. I will definitely do them again.

There is about 2ml in a single vial and they sell them with 4 vials. Should I use all 4 vials? Do you think the aroma is more intense than the essence? Your mother-in-law used about 50ml of essence which seems like a lot haha

Just made Maria's cookies in Austin Texas. I love them. Been buying almond horn cookies at whole foods. They're so expensive and these cookies inspired me. Oven temp of 365 F was a little to hot for my oven. My daughter loved them too. Will make them again.
