I hate that "Soul Society and Arrancar arc are the same" argument. Just cuz they're both rescue arc, doesn't mean they're the same. Naruto had 3 Sasuke retrieval arcs, 4 if you count the Kage Summit and no one makes that argument. One Piece's Arlong Park arc and Enies Lobby arc have almost the exact same beats and no one makes that argument. Like cmon

The largest feat I've seen in my hero is all-night and that's city level while people in bleach are destroying the Earth and another deminsion with there presence

Dr Stone a shinigami can't be killed unless it is done with a zanpaktou but most people ignore that fact so the fights can be more interesting
I've never understood why people hate Bleach this much and why they downplay the series to make it so Ywach's max feat is him breaking a door down like seriously sometimes I think whether the five cents is even worth it to write such shit
The main problem is that almost everyone don't know that bleach is not a fights show , this anime is unique and different from other shounens

Unlike the soul society arc the arrancar Arc is pretty much ichigo embracing his darker nature and hollow side.
The fullbring is more psychological seeing how ichigos friends mean to him and his resolve to protect them all and how he reacted if everyone he cares about were to turn on him
It really does annoy me. When people call the arrancar arc is the same as Soul society . Without taking into consideration the difference.
Aizen Sosuke there’s two similarities thats it they’re going to save someone , they unlock more power as they do so that’s it every thing else is very different I don’t recall Byakuya and Kenpachi being annoyed with each other and fighting for that sole reason in the soul society

I once saw a CBR article claiming Midoriya could beat Deidara and Sasori, CBR also claimed Itachi have infinite tsukuyomi.
I see some saying how things don’t make sense about certain characters, like it’s an fictional world doesn’t make sense in the real world but in their world it’s the normal

Yeah I dont agree at all that Deku could beat Chad. Chad one shot a former Espada and it didnt even take that much energy. Privaron Espada AT LEAST scale to low captain level. And Chad is even stronger in the Fullbring arc and TYBW, even though he doesnt show it. Hopefully he gets much more fleshed out fights in the anime and in the new hell arc.

The full bringer arc is so fucking cool. I think it's one of the most underrated arcs in anime. It's faced paced the villains have cool powers we got expansion on chad and Orihime's powers.
And as he said a different side to Ichigo to show he isn’t all powerful in mind and body he is vulnerable

If kubo dedicated more time to it. the arc could have been amaizing but for now it only look like a half made dish. We got no backstory on ginjo on how he became the first sobstitute, since urahara reigai wheren't a thing until a century ago, the ability of his sword seemed to be steal other fullbringer and that's all, orihime and chad basically had the same abilities as before, except the four point shield, when I expected much more from an arc about their abilities which should even be boosted by the hogyoku. Or we got no detail on ichigo boss story and how they meet up.
Don't get me wrong 'm someone who rewatch ichigo breakdown every now and then just because it's his best character development moment in the series, on how a broken teenager crack under the pressure of everything he has been trown in, just because he is what he his, on how being a reactive protagonist made him an easy prey for all the villains in the series and on how he's constantly manipulated as a chess piece while endangering his beloved ones
@@M.W.2 I respect your oppinion there where definitely things that's could have been cool like Ginjos back story but I think the fact that it was vague Is okay. We know what we needed to about Ginjo. He was once a substatute like ichigo fell in love with the powers of a soul reaper and ended up twisted.
PS. I think it would have been cool if they had a little moment were he remembered the circumstances of gaining his powers.
Also Kubo probably felt like he needed to go fast because people most people unlike you and I didn't like the fullbring arc and where really vocal about it. But I think it would have been cool to see all the stuff you where talking about because that would have taking it from pretty good to great

You know when Ichigo vaporized a chunk of earth with a pseudo Getsuga in the training before Soul Society arc? Urahara said he was 4th or 3rd seat level at best at that moment, exact quote. Chad one-shot a 3rd seat before fighting Kyoraku in SS arc.
@Kevin Byrnes The final villain was in the process of breaking down and recreating the entire Bleach universe with his inmense power, yet Ichigo, nerfed, one-shot him.
I couldn't tell you exactly how strong EoS Ichigo because we never get the chance to see his upper limit. Not even close. He easily outclasses the rest of the Bleachverse by an insane margin

@@ghostneel4334 It really isn't necessary to specify considering Yhwach was going to eliminate the possibility of death by erasing the distinction between matter and spiritual matter. The Material World and Soul Society are implied to be the same in size, yet the Material World is our universe. And Yhwach is even stated to be able to destroy Garganta itself, which houses all the dimensions in Bleach

Chad is equal to All Might with Full Power. You don't remember Chad? He's the one guy who constantly chucked full powered Detroit Smashes at Shunsui. Yeah, imagine after the Bleach timeskip how much strong he got. He's the only fullbinger that's been continuously training even till this day. I think he might have achieved All for One power level.
Also all fullbringers stuff like movement skills and manipulating souls of everything around (water, earth, stone, air... Or even a fuckin spoon)

Ah the Bleach hate train, if I had a dollar for every time I’ve had heard “Bleach sucks that’s why it was canceled” or “I don’t watch bleach my friend/ favorite youtuber, told me the ending sucks/ the main character doesn’t have a main goal” I would’ve probably 100 K lol. The way Bleach ended was weird and it came out of nowhere but to call one of the big three (there has and only will be one group known as the big three) shit or trash is just silly, if this “journalist” did their homework they would know that Kubo decided to end the series, he was not forced by shonen jump, in fact shueisha came up with the idea to make a couple of light novels to expand on the series finale and the questions it let unanswered. Kubo’s relationship with shonen jump is insanely good he got a series for a one shoot manga after two years, and that same series also got an OVA and a sequel, if they really hated the guy or his past work they would have not do that.

He is strong but due to bleach having other much stronger characters with cool ability makes him look weak.
He's very solidly stronger than all the Espada by the Fullbring arc. People really downplay him.
Arrancar arc Chad would solo MHA. Fullbring arc Chad would do it without difficulty.
People tend to think that just because he got sidelined, means that he is somehow weak. They ignore blatant facts.
Soul Society Chad one shot a third seat. He was taking out almost entire squads of soul reapers, and he lost to one of the most powerful captains. Shunsui even said that if Chad landed a blow on him, he may have been in trouble.
Chad one shots a Privaron Espada. Privaron Espada are former Espada so they AT LEAST scale to low captain level, which makes Chad in Hueco Mundo arc at least low captain level. This also makes Chad stronger than Bankai hollowfied Ichigo at that time, because he one shot a former espada without breaking a sweat whereas Ichigo struggled at FULL POWER against Dordoni.
Chad in the Fullbring arc can physically compete with Ginjo and Tsukishima, two characters who are mid to high captain level.
Chad trains even more in TYBW, but he gets no fights. I'm sure hes improved even compared to the Fullbring arc.
Point is, Chad is captain level and there is no refuting that. It's just undeniable fact. Hes almost definitely more powerful than characters like Isane, Iba, and maybe Lisa by the end of the series.
Imagine if Chad learned to use the fullbringer techniques like bringers light (flashstep, which he probably already knows how to use he just doesnt use it) and the Fullbringer equivalent of Kido that Aura uses in CFYOW, he would be nigh unstoppable and that's just plain facts.
I think Chad gets inexplicably sidelined hard throughout bleach. Early on he takes on opponents far beyond his "weight class" just for scaling purposes. He even learned Sonido in Hueco Mundo just for him to never use it again (I know his powers are augmented in the hollow world, but I would think he could achieve that with training again). Then he's given nothing notable to do in the remainder of the series. For Ichigo to bring him along means to me he has some confidence in Chad's abilities.
Yeah, I really hope Kubo can make amends for the destruction of Chad's character in the new hell arc.
Also, even if he cant use sonido outside of hueco mundo, he is a Fullbringer. He can use flashstep, or, more specifically, bringers light.
If Chad were to train his Brazo to its limits and learn the Fullbring version of Kido (what Aura uses in CFYOW) Chad would be unstoppable. Hes still a beast even in the later arcs, Kubo just doesnt know what to do with him and it is sad.
Ichigo is a lot more complicated than people give him credit and his character changes in two arcs and unlike most normal protagonist he has a lot of goals mentioned through out the serious it’s just that people don’t take the time to look at that 🤔 hopefully people change their perspective when the anime returns
The fulbringer arc wasn't the only time u see ichigo being realistic he was from the beginning with how he handles the situation and the way he reacted

Opinion pieces like the ones you mentioned are exactly why I love Death Battle. They actually examine their strengths and weaknesses, show you a potential battle then explain why who won and who lost. They base their findings off of empirical data gleaned as best as they can from reliable scientific references within each character's franchise. It's all fictional, but at least they try.

Ok, this maybe a bit hard to believe for some my hero fans. But, I think that soul society Ichigo can beat all of class 1A at the same time. Here's why, soul society Ichigo was able to harm Zaraki Kenpachi with his Reiatsu. Zaraki is a captain level shinigami so his Reiatsu must be massive, we see this when his massive spiritual pressure can be felt in the surroundings, and Ichigo had a draw with Kenpachi at the end. Note that Zaraki stated that Ichigo would have to overpower his spiritual pressure to hurt him or he would just hurt himself. Overall, he should be able to hurt the class 1A students as they have no spiritual defence. Next, Ichigo when he fought Byakuya Kuchiki, another captain level shinigami, was onslaughted by Senbonzakura, which is Byakuya's Zanpakto. Senbonzakura is a Zanpakto that consists of thousands of small blades meaning that Ichigo was cut over and over again. Ichigo in his bankai later on blitzed Byakuya to a point where he couldn't react. For context, he was moving sooo fast he causes afterimages. Nobody in MHA is that fast. Not even the fastest hero, hawks or manga shigaraki is that fast.
Another thing to note is that Byakuya is above all lieutenant level shinigami, who dodged negacion from the menos grande. Negacion is actually pure light, meaning it is lightspeed. So Byakuya can rest to lightspeed attacks as he scales above lieutenant level shinigami and Ichigo blitzed him. Meaning that soul society Ichigo is FTL. So therefore SS Ichigo claps class 1A and possibly the entire verse
Chad withstood a steel pillar being dropped from a 300ft building straight onto his back and said "Meh this is nothing" This is when Chad had literally no training and no powers. Deku against gentle had to invoke his powers to have a chance at even slightly lifting an equal sized steel pillar that landed directly on chad while he was powerless. After this Chad proceeded to train and be able to push back Shiki ichigo with a single punch to show he now has power to help ichigo in the rescue of Rukia. Chad proceeded to wipe out most of Shunsui's division single handedly until Shunsui himslef had to step in to stop the rampage. Chad proceeded to level 30ft holes into the soul societies walls "Which are reinforced with spirit energy" like they were made of rice paper to the point Shunsui's house looked like swiss cheese. After being defeated by Shunsui and embarased by D roy Chad trains again to acquire a power equal to a Shiki's this results in Chad being able to not only one shot D Roy if he was still alive but being able to one shot plenty of arrancars in their invasion. Chad then comes into contact with a previous espada Gantenbainne who has the power of a lower strength captain and proceeds to beat the ever loving hell out of chad. Chad then remembers who he is and what he fights for and what he is willing to sacrifice to protect the ones he cares about so much so that he unlocks a power equal to a Bankai and proceeds to one shot Gantenbainne like he was nothing. With this level of power Chad would be able to tango with lower strength captains as well like suppressed Kenpachi, tousen, and Komamura he most likely wouldn't win yet but he could land a few good hits. Then Chad proceeds to do nothing but train from the fullbring arc all the way to the end of the TYBW arc. This Chad is so confident in his powers now that he can stand with bankai renji, rukia, and True zanpaktou Ichigo. We never saw Chad fight in the TYBW but we did see Chad lift up Ichigo and throw him into a building so fast and hard that Ichigo couldn't even react in time to not hit it. This would result in Chad being atleast 30-50% as strong as this Version of Ichigo who is massively above captain level that it's not even funny. This would mean not only would Chad punch Deku into a mist of blood in a single punch but because Chad has always been a 60% defense 40% offense stated character who has durability as his strongest trait Deku could release literally everything he has and destroy himself in the process and Chad wouldn't even move or even flinch to Deku's attacks. An all out 100% deku is maybe captain level when you jerk him off to the extreme. Arrancar arc and beyond nothing in My Hero even comes close to being able to fight these characters.

Now Cliches are bad when they don’t really do anything for the plot nor does it give you insight to the character your reading or watching. Cliches exist for a reason and most of the time the reason they are used often is because they work; it’s not to complex they don’t have to start out super complex because to any writer a Character that is too complex ends up being the hardest to write and progress with because they have so much going on where would you even start or where does it end?
