hey mate, this looks so good! Watching your vids and the space you have makes me wish I had more land! I'm in the subtropics too and was wondering what you thought would be the minimum spacing you could get away with when planting fruit trees? I have a spot similar to yours length-wise and have planted every 2.4m - doubt i could fit something in between them, right? The plan is to keep them maxed out at 3m tall.
Hey Pablo I don't think it matters how close trees are planted, I just want variety even if each trees production is lower. I have to prune more but this just provides me with more mulch. You should do a video of what you have, I would love to see it.
That’s such a good way to look at it..using everything you have. Maybe I can fit something smaller in between. I’d like to use more of the yard to plant things but I don’t have many places that get full sun year round which is a bummer but I also am not in the right place to be growing much. Maybe this will change in a few years so I’m keeping my, slowly growing, collection potted just in case. I don’t really have much to share to be honest haha especially when compared to yourself and other Aussies I follow. It’s a small hobby that is so rewarding, so much excitement seeing bits of new growth. Thanks for getting back to me and keep up these awesome videos, they’re really calming and inspiring.

Lovely spot there beside your work shed! Very protected. You made the most of that space mate
Thats a seriously long space by that shed, funny how long since you'd been down there for a look 😱
*Great video! Tuning in from Central California.* 💜👑🐝💜
Hey Queen Bee long time no see! 🐝

Interested to see how the Malaysian red jackfruit turns out. Haven’t heard of it in Australia before.
Will know what it's like in a few months. If it is red, and good, will start to spread it around.
Nice chestnuts! How old are your trees?
About 4 years old, no proper nuts formed this year so they might be getting cut down to make way for something productive.
I'm quite interested in your Chestnut. Must have a yak with you about that sometime. Can ya stop giving me shed envy?!
Lol you wouldn't have shed envy if you saw inside it! Maybe hoarder envy.😉

Also I have smaller trees (eugenias ) planted about 1m apart so I can fi them all!

Are you going to put the duku there?
Yeah Griffin, I might keep the best red jack and cut the other down to make room for my marcotted duku.
