At first it had burnt tips and then I found out Jaboticaba trees don't like fertilizer with nitrogen and I was able to get the soil pH down to 6.0, so now it growing really green and healthy.
@@rynophiliac Yes, both are grown from seeds. Jaboticaba trees are pretty true to the parent tree. I'm growing several more from seed also. Most of the ones I'm growing are Sabara because that is the best root stock and then I will graft other varieties to that root stock.

Nice I wonder if the Scarlet is a dwarf tree.
Scarlet Jaboticaba is considered a dwarf tree, that can produce fruit from seed in as little as 3 years.
