Business Cards work wonders for my business. I’m very selective with who I give my card to. I do want to try Pop.
Why do you believe that they are effective? In what way do you hand them out? I guess I’m asking your selection how do you determine who gets one?
DeadStock Barbershop Since I’m a luxury barber, I look for gentleman who are well groomed and dressed. Usually businessmen or men with a sharp appearance. First I ask them who cuts their hair and depending on their response (kind or rude) I will either let them know I’m a local barber and give them my card or I’ll say “oh, okay. Nice.” and keep it pushin’. I’m thinking about making a video on how I gain and my retain clientele. ✨
@@cynblends I can relate. My uncle was a big time photographer up until his death last year. He had just signed up to use a digital business card about 2 months be fore he passed away. ( He was not using this company ) but as he spoke with me about his card he told me two things that stuck out, 1. He noticed his clients ( celebrities ) would take his card snap a picture 📷 and put it back 2. He was very aware that it was time to ADD ON a digital business card but he was particular about the delivery method of the card ( I will spare you the details ) and about how his contact information was displayed inside of the contacts for ios and Android. Just a little sidebar note.

No problem. Another thing to think about doing is targeting businesses near the shop. If it's local stores resteraunts or whatever look them up on Instagram. See who's liking and commenting and send them a dm. Letting them know you are a local barber and that you would love to service them. The worse they can say is no but you never know who is actually searching for a barber and you show up like you were sent from heaven in their Dm lol. For real though it works. You'd be surprised how many end up cutting celebs and athletes from this very method.

My clientela are most paisas so they aint synced with the technology. So business cards are still good for them ole head u digg, I digg this but sometimes clients be on them government phones. Would it work with those kind of phones?

These strategies work!! Iv done everyone of them and have returned the same results that Chris is telling you. I’m def ordering popl, I was using “hello my name is blue” but it was embarrassing when it didn’t work, only to hand them a business card. They end up on the floor. You become just another person trying to convince them you can cut. This way you can link your Instagram and show your whole portfolio. For me they can book right from my Instagram. Its just better to me that way but its what works best for you in the end
