Dave your videos are wonderful, I always learn so much from them. I can tell you respect the people you interview or talk to and you ask them great questions , I just want to thank you for being you😊❤🤗
Wait... they grow lab quartz? I figured it was so abundant that it was not worth producing. I have a fake cluster of smokey Quartz I got online. The cluster was basically plastered together with white cement. The individual points seemed real but I always wondered if they were or not. They have the same layering/striations that normal Quartz does. Also has spots on side where other points made contact during the grow and when it was broken up it leaves matching indentations along sides of crystal. These have those markings as well
It's a shame dishonest people are out there. I am afraid to buy things from overseas and from people I don't know. Or from people I haven't gotten a great recommendation from.
@@SUPERSHELLEYBELLY the lab grown crystals are very special and often worth a lot more then organic if someone was selling you a fine lab grown crystal like in this video trust me you’d know
they are special To collect your ass who have phone lab grown Crystal taste they are often a lot more valuable than organics depending on what your growing
More valuable because the process and time maybe. But for my money, I want naturally grown. But.... if I know they are grown I'm not opposed to buying them. That doesn't mean they cant mass produce in china and make fake clusters to sell... I didnt say they are high end. They were mostly broken points all made into one new cluster with plaster/cement. But I know for a fact they are grown because i researched the seller as well as found reviews from people who know more than I.
*lab grown sorry. I'm not opposed to buying lab grown. I just prefer the idea of it being natural. Then again almost everything I own... I found personally. I dont connect with crystals I buy the same as ones I find
meteorites would be easy to turn into cabochons, it’s around the same hardness as fluorite. regular lapidary wheels would be more than enough to shape them.
I bought some great stuff from him in Denver and am currently trying to figure out if he’s currently in Tucson or at a show that is still running - do you happen to know?!
Awesome! Thanks so much! I looked at some apps but they all have that “ free for a week then 10 $ a week thereafter” and you know how hard it is to get rid of things once you sign up. Thank you. I’m really glad you decided to keep making videos because we love what you do. I imagine it must be hard graft in terms of income but you are so appreciated, truly. I loved your wings at that gig the other night. Seemed like a fun one:)
