I like Arjun's honesty both here and in KJo's show. People usually gloss over it and do an unnecessary charade of having the best childhood, it makes me very angry. He admits how he really felt and what he went through. Shows he is real and human. I hate it when people deny it and call it a rumour and make it a Karan Johar movie about loving your parents. And he does it respectfully. I loved how he set straight the record about Sridevi never telling him in person. Glad he didn't play along with the charade. #Respect
I really wish Indian actors would follow his lead and stop projecting a hunky dory image. It is an unhealthy trend of the previous generation.
He seems like such a great guy. Very well rounded both as an actor, and human being💕.

i didn't like him in Ishakzade - but he was very mature and good actor in 2 states - i am looking forward to finding fanny - now i really like him - in every interview he is grilled on Sridevi Boneykapoor marriage and his mothers death ( check out his episode in KUCH BHI HO SAKTA HAI ) - he gets so sad and emotional - please stop asking him all these questions - to any person such questions are very depressing - he already has to deal with a lot - wish him luck

Get off the mom topic. It's clearly difficult for him to talk about. This guy is taking advantage of his openness. What a shame. There is much more to discuss with an actor than an extremely personal loss that's still fresh. The interviewer will understand when it's his time for loss. I think Arjun deserves an apology. He was extremely accommodating to this guy's intrusiveness.

I've been watching hindi films for about a month now, nonstop; also interviews, press conferences, etc., and I came to realize and understand, and maybe I'm wrong about this but "bollywood" comes across as a competition between all of them. I've never seen an american interviewer ask a hollywood actor if he's competing with or trying to outdo his or her fellow co-actor in a film. This type of questioning only happens in the Indian film industry. People constantly commenting about who's the better dancer, who can or cannot act, talk shows like Koffee with Karan making actors rate each other based on their acting abilities. All of the actors, even Anushka who people find "playful" are super serious on interviews, they don't go about joking around (expect maybe Ranveer Singh), co actors almost never interact with each other on interviews, they just answer questions like machines, (though I've seen some very few exceptions).... I find it fascinating, and a little weird. Can somebody please explain the reason behind all of this?

Exactly what arjuns relationship is like w his step mother is nobody's business. I am appalled by this interviewer. Shame on him for such irresponsible conduct.
It is getting a bit tiring to always hear the same questions asked to Arjun...most, if not all of these questions and answers were given in his Koffee w Karan appearance and the Anupam Kher Show.
Also, interviewers ought to stop putting him in these victimized narrative about the Sridevi-thing when he has stated various times that it is a done chapter in his life..if these had not been the same questions, maybe it would not have given me the impression, but i feel they are just trying to exploit the whole scandalous aspect of what went down at his expense.
