Finally someone who is real! This is the first interview of her I've seen. I have never really bothered to watch her films. But I must say I don't care how she looks, what is fake or not, she has such a wonderful personality. You can see, she chatted like she would with a friend. No airs, no pretensions and definitely not polishing the truth. Shows an evolved mind, the way she talks about her family and the fact that she is able to joke about it ( I always knew something is wrong). It looks like she moved out when her dad started living with his current partner. It can't have been easy.
She is really very interesting.. some of her words can make to think about her more and more..I felt her so genuine..❤
This was the 1st time I saw Shruti's interview & got to know how she is off-screen. I must say I really really really really really LIKE her as person!

I'm truly impressed by the fact that she doesn't fake her accent at all although she furthered her studies in states! I know, it doesn't mean you studied in states, you gotta carry the American accent everywhere you go, yet still there are so many people choosing to speak in an accent which is widely used in a country they just visited for a vacation.
I think she probably changes it because most people in India better understand English when it's not spoken in the valley girl accent like she did at 7:00-7:04 lol. I didn't even know before this interview she studied in the states so after hearing those 4 seconds I'm just like whoa so she can speak like an American this whole time never knew 😱 haha

lol no, the accent is still obvious with a lot of indian stars who know english fluently and speak it all the time. for instance, aishwarya rai. yeah anyone can pick up american english if you watch american shows, but i was talking about her accent, not the actual english words.

that's not "Tamilan" that's Tamil "brahmin"..there's a grand canyon sized chasm between Tamils and Tamil speaking brahmins. Brahmins have Tamil Nadu are culturally &racially "Aryan" they have more in common with a north India than a Tamilian. Of course shruti may say it as "tamilan" bcos they all want to sound politically correct , but be aware of the fact that even British historians noted that the difference between Tamils and Tamil Brahmins is tantamount to the difference between whites in South Africa and native black people.

Your comment makes sense if she is an average girl in a different profession and not in movie industry. But if you are in the glamour industry it is important to look good. It is part of her job or actually her job. So saying that you thought she is too into looks because of the plastic surgeries does not make any sense. Every Indian actress out there is into her looks. It is a major part of their job.

Yes Shruti Hasan will not cry because she had strong father who explained the reality to success but some people will not ability to see their father .they would divorce and disappear atleast Kamal was there with her rarely and explained his character that he is dancer from very young age so he is emotionally conneced to all bodies . everyone father is not dancer they are either caste or dowry oriented.so Shruti the kids who wanted their parents together yes they are weak.u are great .
