Man... leafing through those Diamond Previews during the '90s in my local comic shop in the Netherlands.. when i saw the names Matt Wagner or Kelley Jones i had to pre-order it. Truly two of my favorites.

practical question... will this comic be available for bookstores or only for kickstarters? i work in a bookstore in the Netherlands and would like to order it for our store (and myself). Kickstarten shipping is a lot.

He did a variant for Detective Comics a few months ago. It's just Batman standing under a 1930's looking lamp post in the middle of the snow. It was so simplistic yet hauntingly beautiful. The man hasn't lost a step.
Ed, Jim, I live only a half an hour north of you guys and I'm on my way down right now to take both your pulses; because other than being clinically dead, I'm not sure how two comic fans can talk to Kelley Jones and Matt Wagner at the same time without screaming and pissing their pants just like 15 year old girls would at a Beatles show.
Was lucky to meet Matt at Comic-Con Chicago superb friendly cool guy to chat with signed a pile of stuff for no charge would love to meet Jones also thanks for this great video you guys are also very talented and admirable love the work of all of you

One of my fave batman illustrators growing up. His influence on batman is undeniable.

so happy with the coloring choice.. i absolutely hate how modern comics have colors so dark it effs up the art, losing all the fine details
i totally agree... i was on the side of - oh man, why don't they do that b&w... until i saw those first colored pages and they are just mind-blowing
