      Bought Anker for my Note 4 on Amazon. Started to swell so I complained and Anker support were jerks. Finally swelled so much couldn't put the back on the phone so I trashed it where Anker belongs. #AnkersSwell 😡

    This is what I bought from Amazon: Note 4 Battery Acevan 3450mAh Li-ion Replacement Battery Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910, Verizon N910V. So far, so good. I consider myself a fairly heavy user and it will need a charge in the evening. The charge goes down pretty far without shutting off. I'll usually charge it after the second warning.

    Surprisingly I have the original battery still in my Note4. I bought this phone new, and never been serviced or replaced. The charge will still last a full day (unplugged at 7am, now is 8pm w/47% remaining). Only problem is sometimes the phone dies with 15% remaining, sometimes 8% ect. Time for a battery but don't trust any of them lol

    I've been using an acevan 3450 from Amazon. After I conditioned it per the instructions I was able to get 16 hours out of it before the phone shut off, 5.5 hours of sot. I watched some vids and listened to audible quite a bit. Downloaded some apps and completely redid my home and lock screen. I'm not a power user but considering how old this phone is I was pleased with the results.

    I've been using the 11,500 TQTHL for a little over a year now. Two days of heavy use is pretty normal. I'm using my note 4 that I've had the last 4 years. My only problem is that I could never get the phone to calibrate the battery so when my phone gets to 5% left I turn the phone off, remove the battery and immediately replace back into the phone. Then restart the phone and it has a battery life remaining of 85% + or -.

    So glad you touched on how the batteries expand! I noticed my Note 4's screen was raised slightly on the left side. Like above the shell of the phone. It was pretty bad. I suspected the Anker battery, but wasn't sure. My Note's been having issues turning on and off, and the battery getting hot. Seems so obvious now lol. Thanks for the links!!

Do you have an update on which batteries would be a good replacement for 2020? I'm still not ready to get rid of a phone that has both a removable SD card and battery.

    Thanks man. Had bought 2 Samsung Note 4 batteries from the Philippines - one turned out to be a genuine original battery while the other was a fake which drained out quite quickly. I also have one of those phone chargers that you showed on your video, so yeah, I keep one battery on charge while the other is in use with the phone. Will get an Anker, Zerolemon or another recommended Note 4 battery soon. Am going through 2-3 charges a day with the current batteries that I have. Was thinking of getting a new Note 4 but then again, I'll try the batteries you suggested first. Cheers!

    It is better if you shared the phone "screen on time (SoT)" and "app usage" rather than just telling how many hours it would last since everyone have different style of usage and settings. That way would definitely help us to determine if the battery worth buying.
    I personally have the zerolemon 10k mAh battery which can provide me with around 15 hours of SoT. I'm a heavy user. I watch videos a lot, gaming a lot, and still used my note 4 as my main camera. With normal/light usage i can easily pushed up to 20 hours of SoT. Yeah, the phone was heavy. But for all that power, what else to complain?

    • @MayitoTek
      @MayitoTek  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Nuar! I was so close to taking that rout, but I did not wanted to get too technical as the average user doesn't care for that .
      I agree with you , having the details is what adds some real value for some users that are able to understand what the SOT/APP Usage means and how it translate to their unique experience.
      Thanks for sharing your experience with the zerolemon battery, I had many zerolemon batt users who have also mentioned similar experience.

    the problem is.... You get copies of the Anker Batteries in India... which sucks... I Have been using my Galaxy Note 4 since 2015 and 5 years later I haven't found any issues apart from the batteries and the heart rate sensors. The Batteries runs Hardly 1 years on an average... So I have changed it thrice... The one that came with the phone ran for 1.5 years approx. and the rest two went on for 1 year approx... I always get the original ones, as there is no original Anker in India... Anyone knows how I can get an original Anker Galaxy Note 4 Battery ????

      I had someone mention that they are not able to calibrate their larger size battery. I personally haven't had much of an issue with battery calibration with the batteries I have.. so i really don't have much to add on that .. When you get a new battery you def have to go through a cycle process which is usually recommended by the sellers .

  • @williamhorn8701
    @williamhorn8701 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You can even end up with a bad factory battery. I just got one recently from Amazon third party seller and the battery appears to be an original Samsung battery, with the chip inside the cover. I thought for a while my phone was going bad because the phone would die usually when I tried to use the camera and then it would go into a constant reboot loop, that you can only stop by removing the battery. Instantly I'm back to 1985 alone with no communications lol. Turns out it's the battery that is bad. Put my old bloated original battery in and the phone works fine.

      MayitoTek it just has a trade mark that says RD and a bunch of Chinese writing. I bought it from ebay I think and another same one from jet.com . It comes with a bigger back plate. They are super cheap but I haven't had any problem. I can literally have the screen on all day playing games or reading. It says eu version only but I live in the u.s and it works fine. You have to charge the phone a few times to get the battery percentage correct in the top of the screen. After 3 or 4 charges it's correct though. I wish I could post a pic for you.
