5:36 I have had that issue and found that the worms were large enough to pupate, but just were not doing it and I found that they were hardly moving and drinking (apples or water gel) I ended up selling them. they were the last tray of my second-generation.
I always thought that for black solider fly larve, and mealworms. That the ablity to freeze them at some point in the lifecycle and not die would stablize so much. Imagine if they could cryo freeze mealworm eggs so you can stock pile them. Then time the release to bring them out. Or even better fully freeze the larve stage for live reanamation. It to this day suck that they changed the way college research works during the reagan years and stop doing all those projects. Use to do so much more open pollen varities. And just basic farming research that was more open. They still do some though.
Sorry I don't understand English, what do you feed mealworms with? I mainly feed them with wheat bran and apple pomace or carrots, but they don't grow well, so I asked for a truckload of corn distiller's grains. How about palm meal? Have you used it?
Wheat bran and water gel crystals. It takes a while for them to grow even in optimal conditions. I haven't tried palm meal. Wheat bran is the ideal substrate for them.

Where can I get these blue trays?
Beekenkamp in the Netherlands. I currently buy them from Tricycle.eco in Canada.
