Juliet Slota, a geology major in the College of Arts and Sciences at Stony Brook University, is a 2024 Velay Fellow. Her project, “Uranium-Lead Dating of Detrital Zircons from Snyder Quarry, New Mexico” is under the mentorship of Dr. E. Troy Rasbury, Department of Geosciences.
