Great , honest review, I was surprised it worked (to an extent) on glass, but then glass is a pig to work on anyway. It'll do me for wood and slate anyroadup. Thanks for your efforts King😄
This man is a legend, “a simplistic picture” he says and then proceeds to make a masterpiece! Thank you my man! And your review of it was perfect for me to make my mind if I should get it or not, so thank you for that as well🤙
As an amateur dude who just likes to draw pretty pictures on different things this actually helped quite a lot and you're funny as hell too. Cheers man!
I was just trial and error. For me it’s quite like the pyrography, doesn’t make a huge difference which bit you use. It’s more how much pressure and how long you hold it for that makes the difference.
No mention of how long it lasts compared to compared to how much time charging. I remember watching a review about this and think they said at least 2 hours between uses and 20 minuit use time . If that helps
Did you have any problems with this tool at later date as I used it once but now it doesn’t recharge and is out of warranty. Just wondering if it’s salvageable. Thank you.
Yeah bought it for glass because it promised that in the advert and it doesn't work at all. Leaves nasty marks only. Very disappointing even though it looks like it works fine on different materials.
Glass engraving takes some decent practice, given you’re working a slick surface. You need to be work slowly and deliberately, especially as a beginner. Also might be the particular bit you’re using. I’d experiment with different types before throwing in the towel.
That would depend on the substance. For most material, I personally don’t mind without a mask with the small amounts produced. But you might prefer to use one or have a small fan blowing away.
I bought this engraver but unfortunately using it for fourth time; then stop rotaiting even if it is well charged. Now I can't using it. I'm completely disappointed and I have not choice but accept that I loose my money in a very stupid way.😢😮

Just saw an ad for this and your video is just what I needed to make an informed decision. Thanks!
You’re welcome 👍
How is it an informed decision? He has an affiliate link. He’s basically a salesman.
@@MadCapMag if I didn’t like the product I wouldn’t put a video out. I’m under no pressure whatsoever to give a glowing review of a tool.

I’ve always wanted to try one of those. Looks good.
I wanted to know if the Culiau Engraving Pen works well on different materials. This excellent video answered my questions.

How are we supposed to trust anyone with an affiliate link?? Wish I could find genuine reviewers with no skin in the game.
Yeah... I can't seem to find any review that isn't sponsored by culiau...
It's kind of obvious from the review that the cutting speed is very, very limited.

I like your video of what it did on each sample. Can I ask you, did you recharge after wards? A few of us are having a problem with it not recharging.
No I haven’t had that issue. Get in touch with Culiau and let them know 👍

Thank you 👍
Looks like a tool that could be handy for some jobs

@@karenvosburg1782 I'm not a beginner. I have had a Dremel tool for years and it works just fine on glass.
Would recomend a dremel instead?
She already has one. :)
@@OhDannyboy7 what? I meant for me. What she would recommend.
Thanks for that. I will not be wasting my money on one of these.
do you need any precautions not to breath in dust and other particulates ?
thank you ! :)

Sounds like a dentist’s drill but seems to work beautifully. What’s happened to the uke?!
It’s coming! Running low on time this last few weeks 😞
Is figuring out the function of the various tips, trial and error, I mean, experience? There are a lot of tips and often no instructions.
How long it took to be good?
Not long at all, you learn to control the speed and pressure quickly to get the lines you need 👍
that in breeding did you in dude
Reccomme4nded it to 2 people there bought it and the battery died within 2 month, You can't replace them
Get in touch with Culiau, that must be covered on a warranty?
@@KingBespokeCreations very limited warranty, a few months only. Buyer beware
Short warranty must equate to low quality tool and short, cheap thrills?
you can now buy it for $20 in some places
