I wanted to move to london and I spent 10 days there then five weeks the next year and I don’t feel like I need to move there anymore! lol other things in life are keeping me here now but yeah maybe you just need to spend some more time there and don’t need to fully uproot :) or just to start to take the pressure off!
Unfortunately or fortunately I also had that antsy feeling and I did move and it did entirely fix it and my life has improved . Do with that information what you will.

I lived in the uk for a while and I was endlessly shocked at how old everything was (my house was built in the 1500s and the alley it was on has been there since the 1200s???? like???) and every time I was with a British person and pointed out how old something was they’d be like “imagine being a fucking baby”. it’s so weird the us is so mf new
The thing I find fascinating is how people 'move to London' - I live 40 miles away from London and can't afford to ever move there lol. I am very jealous, but honestly, I can buy an entire house and garden for the price of a literal cupboard in a not very nice part of London. When holidaying in London you only see the upmarket areas and there's no way most people can afford to rent in those areas. You definitely need to experience the rougher parts of London (ie. the areas you would be able to afford to rent in) before you move there! x
