I came on late to this! I just binged 51 of the 70 videos and absolutely loved it all (except for the phone in the canal). I am amazed at your work ethic, knowledge, and your strong relationship. This so foreign to me having lived my life in Los Angeles and San Diego. Looking forward to watching you on Route 66 and beyond.

If someone said to me they are painting the inside of their boat green, pink and orange I would think they were nuts. However it works so well. It shows how much vision you guys have. You guys should be so proud of what you have done. Looking forward to see what the outside of the boat will be like when you do it. Well done guys!

This is an impressive transformation. I'd have to have a cassette style toilet installed at the very least, but each to their own. Having recently started watching "The Nomadic Crobot", I would like to see a joint collaboration between Joe and Becca.

Fabulous, one of the best if not the best renovation of a narrowboat I have seen. Can I make one observation the fake grass is a great idea, however our entire rear lawn is fake grass and it's the best thing we ever did, but on a hot day away from shade it is very hot to walk on and when it rains it will hold the wet against the metal floor, perhaps a continuation of the scaffold boards might work. PS I work for a building surveyor based in Somerset so I love the accent. Best wishes Christine x

I've said before just how good a job you two have done, hope you enjoy the road trip. Just one thing to think about, old boats do tend to shake a lot, I worry for all those items on top of your cupboard, please think of some way to stop them moving, or you may find all the breakable items on the floor.

Do you plan to eventually make it to Northern California where GREAT beers and ales are our stock in trade? We also make some pretty good wine. BTW, scaffolding planks for the floors was inspired and brilliant.
Wilko's do a plastic plate you can put behind you electrical socket that has a shelf for two phones. It's no bigger than your socket

Glad you're getting some fake grass. I was just thinking I can imagine that being really nice out there & then you said it. I have some in my garden & it's been there 2 years now & is as good as new. I didn't even get a particularly expensive one, just off ebay!

I love all of your choices and acquisitions as well. You may need a top rail around your pantry cupboard to hold everything on when you have the inevitable bump or crash. I've seen other people's stuff end up on the floor and broken. Otherwise, fantastic! Enjoy your trip over here to the US. It's huge and wonderful.

Aha. Ceps. I usually pick Chanterelles (Girolles) in Kent. On a good year get about 2kgs, better years, sell them to restaurants, along with other produce. But its just a hobby. Try some chicken of the woods. Shaggy ink caps, parasols, and puff balls are also worth picking. Ceps are best dried then turned into 'fairy dust' by using a high quality spice grinder. Fabulous in Risotto. Anyhow, good luck in US.

Well done guys and enjoy your US trip. I may be wrong, but I doubt it, but all that stuff on top of the pantry will end up on the floor some day soon! I'm about a mile above you in Devizes, and twice this week my boat has been sitting at a angle so great that all the drawers slid open along one side, and everything on the up side shelves slid off. Unless you never moor in short pounds, it's going to happen eventually! Also you sometimes get knocked around a bit in locks, and of course the speeding boaters ;-)
Aw we haven’t had any problems so far but we will see haha

Brilliant fit-out ... great idea to do the boat tour overview. Not convinced about artificial grass at the bow (can trap moisture underneath?) ... maybe wooden slats (like you can get wooden bath "mats") ?

Hey kids where in the USA are you going. Climate depending where you go can be a pain . Eastern US IS very humid and hot. Southern is humid and hot. Midwest is temperate.west is super dry. Will cause your skin to Crack . California is nuts lots of different things some weird some not .have a good safe trip.i live in Colorado it's super dry dessert.

Red or Green velvet or leather on log store ,turning into a seat. Back doors would of originally been lined with timber. I used draft excluder on mine, and this worked a treat. PS looking good
