  • This is a very easy project to make, perfect as little gift. This is a demonstration for you to make to your desired size.
    MATERIALS:
    - 2 pieces of clear vinyl, mine measured 7 1/2" x 8" (19 cm x 20.5 cm).
    - 1 zipper longer than the width of your vinyl pieces
    - fabric scraps or ribbon as long as the width of your vinyl pieces

    Here's a tip for working with vinyl. To make it easier to turn right side out, iron your ironing board to get it hot & lay the vinyl on the warm spot & it will warm it up & make it more pliable. Makes it easier also just for lining up the corners. Thank you for another great video!

    Thank you. Ive been struggling with attaching the vinyl to the zipper and sewing the bottom corners. This was very helpful.

    So cute! Well done! I have tried that trick of hearing the board then rubbing the vinyl on it and it works pretty well but today I discovered that my hair dryer works even better! It really softens the vinyl making it easy to turn or to manipulate to make the boxed corners!

    Another great tutorial Marcela! I've had a roll of vinyl with beautiful flowers on it for over a year now, just been afraid to use it. I think I'm going to try this pouch with it. Thank you for explaining things so well. God bless!

    Have you try using regular clothes pins to hold the zipper in place

    • @MarcelasPurse
      @MarcelasPurse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I avoid pins when working with materials like vinyl because they make holes
      and rip. For regular fabric I use pins or clips/pegs. 😊

    • @MarcelasPurse
      @MarcelasPurse  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I really don't remember, I am affraid. I would suggest to make a small pouch with scrap fabric and see how it works, the main thing is to be able to turn the pouch right side out easily at the end . Let me know how it goes.
