    I purchased a CC30h last summer. Your experience with the mower was a factor in my decision to make the purchase. It has worked out well for me and has plenty enough power to mow my lawn. I have a smaller lawn with a narrow gate and worked out perfectly. I am a 68 year old man from the north side of Fort Worth ( the stock yards area) and I have enjoyed your reviews. Best wishes on your move to Cali.

      So you live about 10 miles from me. . Glad it's worked out for you. A riding mower saves your body from wear and tear. Have a long and fruitful life.

    add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel, then you don't have to worry about bad gas.

    I have this mower. I would not purchase it again. I also bought the bagging system for it. I has never worked. Went back to the local dealer and was told it works on the highest cutting level #4. Still never worked. I have less than a quarter of an acre. it does not cut even and must go back over the area I have already cut. I have had it serviced and blades sharpened. Does not help. And yes I have been cutting laws since I was about 12 and now am 70. I do know how its done.

    Like your videos on CC30H, you mentioned about draining your fuel for winter. The best thing you can do is use recreational fuel in the machine. It has no ethanol and is 100% gasoline. It will not degrade when sitting for long periods of time. You can go on line and find out who sells it where you live. Type in, Ethanol free fuel or recreational fuel. I am a licensed master journeyman mechanic now retired. Best wishes, Bob Clancy

      @@mynormallife479non-oxygenated fuel is more expensive but better for your vehicle overall. It doesn't need expensive fuel stabilizers for storage (although they don't hurt) and you don't need to figure out how to run the last drop out of the fuel system.

    2021 models of the CC30H have a Briggs and Stratton engine. Some previous models an MTD.

    I watched your video when you first purchased your CC30H and I had just struck what seemed a good deal. But now watching this about the underpowered nature I wonder whether I should break that deal.
    I'm moving from a .3 ac lot with a 21" push mower to a 1 ac lot that is mostly sloped. I'm not concerned about only having 50% more blade area as I am the power aspect.

    I pay to get my lawn mowed every week all summer. Since the guy decided to go up on his prices, I decided that maybe I should get a mower and mow my own lawn. I used to mow my lawn years ago (Craftsman push lawn mower) when I was in my 50's. After running across your video, It was so informative that I am considering getting the one you are reviewing. Could you do a video showing how to drive it and keep my grass cut (not too low) but get that smooth manicured lawn look? Also will this riding mower give me the nice lines that I used to get in my lawn with my push mower years ago? I totally forgot about having to pull that cord on the push mower until you mentioned it. Anyway, keep doing your videos and have a Blessed Day. DorothyK

      If you can drive a car you can ride a mower. You won't get a manicured lawn if you make sharp turns. One side will get scalped. This is how you start the mower. 1) Insert key 2) Make the PTO (cut blade) is disengaged. 3) Set speed of engine on high (rabbit). 4) Turn key. That's it. You can ride the mower now and not mow. When you are ready to mow select the height of the cut. 2 is typical. Maybe 3. Then engage the cutter/blades by pushing forward the PTO. You can cruise around in slow or fast. You can only cut in fast. You cannot backup with the PTO (cutting blades) engaged. I'll do a video soon. Thanks. Yes, I may have made an error. I'll try to shoot the video today. It looks like rain in Fort Worth.

    You can go to an automotive store and buy a small can of STUFF that you add to the gas tank, which protects the gasoline from breaking down while setting through the winter.

    Jesus.....I have about a 4000 Square Foot lawn area to cut and I was considering this unit. Questions......Does it mulch and if so, how well does it mulch? Can you get a bagger for it and if you happen to have the bagger, how well does it work. I have an tight area that is only 7 feet wide. I guess with this unit I would I would have to drive in, back out and move over and go in again. Can it do that easily. One last question. What is the HIGHEST cut you can get with this machine? I have tall Fescue grass which in the summer should be cut at about 4 1/2 tall to keep it from burning out. Can this unit cut that high? Thank you for your time. I enjoy your videos.

    • @JMMGarza
      @JMMGarza 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I like how this mower mulches. Definitely better than push mower. Both the mulch plug and chute attachment come with the cc30h. Yes, you can get a compact bagger unit. It's very popular. As for manuverability. It's not as good as a Zero Turn pro model. But is still quite nimbal. The max height according to my ruler is 4 inches. Almost what you want. Buy a lift kit? Just joking.
