Nice recap and appreciate the emotion on a tough day. You fought through it, were open to running with those guys (when you could’ve just had them move on), and you got it done. Says a lot about you. The training you did is still in “the bank” and will be what you build on going forward. Thanks for sharing this build and recap vid. Looking forward to seeing what’s next.
Really appreciate the comment, it’s been very bittersweet but have had it in my head that the long term goal is to stack a couple training blocks and just keep racing. Gotta have a great day eventually haha.
Awesome video and recap dude! Hearing your journey, experience, and depiction of the psychological parts of this was super insightful. I know the results weren't what you hoped, but hearing your perspective on your time compared to NYC shows how much potential energy has been built. Looking forward to seeing what's next for you 🤘
Dude Ben! Thanks for the comment man! Yeah, this was a wild ride with a lot of positives. Already itching to get back to it. time for a summer of hot miles!!!
Dude - I feel ya'. Funny enough I ran into Cody & Sean near the start... similar day myself. Was on track for 3:30 then blew up with cramps, 4:29 final. Still a PR, but learning experiences for sure. Way to keep it to the finish.🤘🏼
We are the sum of our parts and this part will make you stronger!
Love that - onward and upward 🤘🏻
Way to push through 💪. Also, love that Montréal shirt
Thanks!! And also thanks! I love it, got it on our last trip up. Freakin love that city
Thank you for your story. I'm doing Montreal and Niagara (canadian side) marathon this year - first back-to-back. Buffalo next year.
Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏻. Based on elevation maps if you have a good time in Montreal you will def rock Buffalo next year 🤘🏻.
Wow, this sounds like an absolute nightmare, but good on you for getting to the end!
haha, a "voluntary" nightmare for sure. appreciate the kind words! I'll get the next one.
Great job! Spring marathons are a roll of the dice; although lately, even fall marathons have gotten awful running weather
Thanks! Rough day for sure haha, currently looking back at November races. Better chance of snow than heat lol
I aimed for 3:05 and finished with a 3:19 at Buffalo this year. Everybody blew up that day. The humidity was real.
Still ran an awesome time man, can chalk it up to a really great workout. You already looking at fall races too?
@@KyleMcCueRunning thanks! I am currently training for The Wineglass Marathon in Corning ny. I highly recommend it if you're interested

Congrats Kyle! Consider De Mar Marathon in Keene, NH in September for the next one!
I’ll have to look it up! Currently considering Corning or Philly. Philly sounds nice cuz it’s later. Mid November.
