here let me try to explain, sorry if I mess up. 1) start your recording, with fraps for full screen games. 2) Open camtasia, go to your fraps movie folder and drag them into the camtasia time line. 3)Pick produce and share, and do custom production settings. 4 Then open up youtube when it is does rendering it or whatever it does, and click "upload video" 5) You should find it in your documents and upload the mp4. It should work! Hope this helped
please explain in a reply to this comment how to compress videos using the same programs and such. i need to know how to compress them for youtube. thanks!
@JaredAredRed Oh hmm, so you mean when you pull the fraps videos into the clip bin? Did you make sure after you took them to the clip bin you pulled them down to the timeline thing? I think in this video I show, at 1:32 you will see me putting the videos down in the timeline, simply drag them in, the audio problem I am not sure about, so sorry. It should work perfectly, really not sure why it doesn't, my apologizes. =[
Camtasia 8+ versions do not allow to import FRAPS files, nor any .avi files for that matter. So this video should be taken down or at least appended with "Won't work on camtasia 8"
It wont let me drag it in the box :( it just turns my mouse into a black circle with a line through it
