Good Morning! Vanishing Yesterdays is so poetic, one of my most favorite Hua songs. He didn't write it, Hua doesn't compose love songs and rarely sings any. For me, it's a love song and he sings it so well, he probably dug in his past relationship to find the emotions. He's only ever referring to one girlfriend he had in college, I think he really misses her. I guess he had others since but he's very private and doesn't talk about that at all. Two other beautiful songs I really love are Ashes from Fireworks (which you listened to in 2017 concert) but it's a show performance from 2019 and his vocals are amazing, and The Rampage, giving you links with English Subs in reply to this comment in case you want to react to them. This was not composed by him, meaning it was probably originally a break up song. He sings it with his own emotion and thought so whether he draws him emotion from his break up or parental past I don’t really care, all I know is that he’s genuinely putting his emotions into it. (He never got over his girlfriend from the past, since he became famous it was even harder for him to form genuine relationships with other people)
actually I think this song was writing to all parents. In the lyrics, expressed even if we can't understand some behaviors of our parents sometimes, but there is no doubt that they really love us so much. As the lyrics, I could not understand your decision, I thought you were selfish but in the end, I became considerate. sometimes the kid may regard parents' love as selfish but absolutely not. And another one, "in my world,not just everyone can push the door and see my childlike side."Yes, because only parents can see our childlike side. we look like a kid just when we are at parents' side.
