I would like to see a remake of Revenge of the Flying Dutchman. Here are the things from the original game I would like to see the devs address and fix in the remake. -Improve the controls and animations. -Have the soundtrack assigned to levels instead of outfits. For example, Spongebob's default outfit theme could be used for the Bikini Bottom hub level in general. -Have more engaging and threatening enemies, and improve the combat to give the player more incentive in fighting them. Also, have the enemies drop gold doubloons upon defeat, similar to how enemies in the Spyro games drop gems. -Give each level a boss fight. Also, improve the Flying Dutchman fight at the end. -Give more uses for the Mermaid Man and Reef Blower outfits. They're really underused in the original game. -Lower the requirement for finishing the game and have 100% completion optional. -Have Tom Kenny recast the French Narrator. -Have Larry redubbed so he's less of an out-of-character jerk. -Give Downtown Bikini Bottom and Goo Lagoon a total makeover so they're more accurate to the show. -Add post-game content so that your completed save file doesn't go to waste. Encourage replayability.
I 100% agree with you on nicktoons unite. The game was really fun but had alot of issues that could be fixed if remade and shown to a new generation of kids.
I definitely think the Nicktoons Unite series is likely due to THQNordic's Nick games list from March of 2018, it includes shows that never got their own games like Teenage Robot, Invader Zim, Rocko, and Catscratch, but they did appear in the Nicktoons games.

One of the most imaginitive games I've played and is easily top three for best SpongeBob games of all time. I think RidersDx has a soft spot for truth or square because it has the nostalgia factor, but what we really need is more creative titles like Creature from the Kristy Krab.
I remember Nicktoons Unite... i got stuck early on in the first Fairly Oddparents level and just sorted stopped playing there. I remember there was this large gap that only Danny could cross, and the hint read something like "This puzzle(?) may require some _cooperation_ " or something. I thought that it was impossible to complete without a second player (since everything i tried by myself didn't work), so i just dropped the game and forgot about it til now. I might try it again on an emulator some day just to get some closure for myself though
5persondude I think I know which part you’re talking about. I believe it may have been a Danny/Spongebob puzzle, where you utilize in soaking up water with SB, and pour it to make bubbles. I could be wrong though, I’d have to watch crocker’s fortress again

I'd like to see The Yellow Avenger get not just remade, but revamped. Take out the annoying loading times of the PSP version, those unresponsive touch controls of the DS version, allow more fast travel making backtrack less monotonous, provide a guide or radar system to let us know where we need to go, add dialogue to the game (but find substitutes for Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy since their actors are now dead) and improve the automatic camera so it doesn't keep panning to such awkward positions.
for the nicktoons unite, I think they should fix the controls. Because there are levels like the spongbob world, where the computer isn't smart enough to move SpongeBob to the bomb in the crab machine from plankton in the finale of the SpongeBob level. as a kid, I always felt that is the strategy way to do it, and so sometimes I got my friend to do the 2 player multiplayer. there are rare times where the computer is finally smart enough to perform the action, but most of the time, no. And if there was other ways, than I've been tripping my 8 year old self. But anyways, smarter computer action for the other characters please.

I think "Spongebob Squarepants: Lights, Camera, Pants!" should be remastered. I mean let's be honest, this game is a perfect example of a proper "Mario Party" clone, but without boards. I also think we can get mini-games from new worlds like The Poseidome hosted by the series version of King Neptune (voiced again by John O'Hurley). That hard part about this though is how to incorporate these new levels into the story, without Joe Alaskey or Tim Conway voicing new lines for Aquaman and Aqualad (given their voice actors, Ernest Borgnine included are both dead). My solution, get Joe Whyte to redub Aquaman's lines for the remaster, along with someone like Rodger Bumpass or Jeff Bennett to redub Aqualad's lines. Bob Joles can voice new lines for Man Ray, while Tom Kenny can redub the Dirty Bubble's lines.
Fairly Odd Parents Breakin Da Rules remake should be next! Some of those levels were creative. I still got the dog world stuck in my head and running away from Tootie😂

While i'm glad for rehydrated, I think one spongebob remake is good for now. Maybe the movie one in a year or so, but that would be it. I think other THQ games should be remade, nicktoons is a good start; but also FOP: Breakin' the rules, JN: Attack of the Twonkies, The incredibles game, Rugrats in paris or some combination of games, and Tak 1 and 2
What i can say is that the potential remakes would be The SpongeBob Movie 1 game, Revenge of the Flying Dutchman, Lights Camera Pants and Creature from the Krusty Krab. TBH Games based on specials are not very interesting like Atlantis or ToS, because they doesnt have strong creativity like earlier games. And of course for Nicktoons Games what i want is not 4 games bundled in 1 but one single game with all 4 narratives combined plus i want more characters than Attack of the Toybots had.
The Spongebob game I would really want to see remade is the Spongebob Kart racer "Boating Bash". The original had a good selection of karts (boats) but the tracks were limited in variety. Plus, I was miffed that I couldn't unlock Mrs Puff's school track used in the opening moments of Story mode. As for the Flying Dutchman, I agree that game needs the Rehydrated treatment. The original lagged whenever you change levels.

I wouldn’t change much, mainly cause it’s one of my favorites. For anyone here asking for a Movie Game remake, the producers from THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp commented that the license for the movie is separate from the license for the series and it's owned by Paramount. So the only way it would happen is if both the BFBB remake is successful AND there's enough demand for it to justify buying another license, otherwise they might as well skip straight to Lights, Camera, Pants or Creature, and considering that most people like BFBB more vocally than Movie, our hopes are pretty much dead in water (no pun intended).
Nick better acknowledge the NickToons Unite! remake on their social media so kids can have knowledge that it will officially exist (even though that it has not been announced already)
The game I want a remake the most is Creature From The Krusty Krab mostly for the same reasons that you mentioned except for altering the Story Mode setup because I think it's fine as it is. For Nicktoons Unite I hope that at the very LEAST they add a run button or something because the characters move like slugs and that contributes to it feeling extremely boring. For Truth or Square what I want is not necessarily a remake but at minimum a rerelease that improves the camera and adds the two levels that were cut from the Wii/X360 versions and only used in the horrible PSP version.
