Shavkat however is built different, he is one of the most well rounded guys in the division, has arguably the best killer instinct in the UFC, enormous strength and power and he respects no one inside the cage. A fight between Khamzat and Shavkat or between Shavkat and Charles Oliveira would be Hall of Fame worthy (if both guys received the proper time to prepare, as Rakhmonov would need to bulk up to fight against Chimaev).

Wrestling is an inherently superior foundation for mma than striking. Belal is champ because he has a complete game based on wrestling. He has trained and gameplanned with Khabib and crew, the most elite team on the planet. Chute Box is strong, it will help Ian, but their best lost to team Khabib. But yes, Ian does still have a chance. Gotta love this sport, most stuff goes the way you expect but the exceptions are so fun because of that.
