Yes..to it all. I have 3 siblings who were wild and I felt like I had to be good for my mom because they were a bit out of control. As an adult, I think its still raw because I feel a sense of martyrdom which is making me feel resentful and rebellious- but it’s because I made a habit of saying YES when I really mean NO. Literally just had this convo with a friend.
This is great! Having recently completed the accelerated training I now understand, in more depth my strengths; Responsibility (in particular) Maximiser, Connectedness, Learner and Belief. I can totally relate to Klare, being the eldest of six from a split family and as an 8 year old taking ownership for my younger siblings. Such a great revelation! And then seeing, over the years how I have missed out on opportunities because I said 'yes' to things instead of saying 'no'! I'm learning to be more selective and negotiate more....I can't do that, but I can do that! I hope that makes sense. Thank you for sharing.
I was really curious about where you were going to go if she had high Arranger, she didn't, but it's my #1 dominant theme so I would love to understand your thought about those connections. I'm Arranger, Activator, Adaptability, Responsibility, Positivity...I feel like I'm in a constant conundrum because I always have a thousand balls in the air, ready to pull down the next appropriate task to Activate, then my Adaptability allows me to go with the flow, all while my Responsibility ensures I'll get it all done, and with Positivity rounding out my top 5 I always check my attitude and try to focus on the bright side, identify the silver linings and celebrate those things along the way because without humor & humility brings out the misery of being overwhelmed, so I try not to take it all so seriously & enjoy the work, people, processes & accomplishments, because it's imperative to try to enjoy the whole process! Of course, easier said than done sometimes but that's the mission I've accepted, and who I am, so yes, I often take on too much, but I give it my all & roll with the punches, lol! Any thoughts you can share about this combo of themes, it would be greatly appreciated, especially with Arranger at the top of the ticket...and Input is 34, lol! Thank you!
