I've come back from a break from VR. After watching this, it's made me realise that not many new games come to vr compared to other platforms. It's a shame that some of the best experiences have already been out for a few years and I've played them all. Even so, I'm looking forward to getting back into it. Great video!
i was just going to say nothing has come out to top HL Alyx by the look of it. I have some time this winter and plan to get back into VR but this looks very disappointing
@@TheSateef Yes, exactly! Not many studios seem to be producing high budget games, or even games in general. It's a shame really. I do feel as if vr is slowly loosing popularity. I'll stay hopeful
Word, I stay away to see how far along it’s gotten, it’s a few progress but I’m still looking for that immersive feeling and high quality.maybe in the next 7 years
@@andreasgajewski If your playing via steam through your PC: Half-Life: Alyx, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, Boneworks, The Lab (which old but it's free and great for new players) I hope that helps
Been playing a lot of RE4 on Quest 3 lately. Just finished Down the Rabbit Hole but in the past few months, I played through Witchblood, The Secret of Retropolis, and most of Arizona Sunshine 2. Also, the semi-regular jump into games like SynthRiders, Vail, Dungeons of Eternity, Ragnarock, and Tetris Effect Connected.
Re4 and RE Village are some of the best VR games ever made, especially in the horror genre. But I thoroughly enjoyed the original FNAF help wanted, as it was terrifying but also had tons of minigames, collectibles, lore, and fun to be had, especially if you buy the DLC.
Also for platformers, ik this isn't 3rd person, but Toss is a great game. It's longer than it seems, and it's really fun. It also is kind of a workout, and the secret levels get insanely difficult.
I love the Wanderer, and cannot wait for the updated version of it (which will be coming out, well, soon hopefully). One of the best Puzzle games I have played.
Great choices and, as always, highly informative and brilliantly delivered. Keep on being you, dude. 👍 Although, as an aside, for anyone who doesn't know and would like to, The Room and Exorcist are also on PSVR 2. 🙏
I really wish Silent Slayer would have made it because its pretty dam cool.. But i guess its a one and done situation. Nice video bruh... Makes me wanna go back through my 465 games on my Quest 3s and maybe redownload something that i just didn't get into at the time
Im a game developer on Steam and i have a game called The Last Farewell. If you are interested in trying it, it is designed in a way that is suitable for content creators. It is preferable to take a picture of it directly after you enter if you want to take a video about it.
Walking dead chapters 1&2, Arizona Sunshine 2, and first encounters on quest 3. Kinda wish I knew of other games like first encounters as it's great to show off VR.
Have you played "In Death Unchained: recently? The graphics are incredible, the enemy well designed, and the joy of archery has never felt better with it's physics based performance and the wonderful feel you have when you release the bow string. I have literally played this game hundreds of times and continue to do so.
Well that’s what makes it a personal it’s I guess. I do regret not putting in GT7 and metro as they should have made the list but hindsight is a wonderful thing
All these games are ones that i tried and didn't get into or just refuse to buy lol. The only exceptions are Arizona sunshine which were great, of course the resident evil games which are the best out and I'm working on Batman. Playing between PSVR and quest 3. Just finished Metro. They missed Madison VR which i got halfway through and didn't finish, not bc it wasn't good (a little hard to figure out at first), but i just couldn't do the anxiety anymore. That game just puts you on edge and will fucking scare the shit out of you at quite a few points.
I want a realistic combat game like ufc with all the blood and gore i dont care about real Charakter i just want it i played alot combat games but these games are not that realistic i hope with boxing underdog we ger what i want.
have you actually played these games? or are you just reading from the game descriptions.. "you definitely need to try this" but can you tell us from.your authentic experience like briefly givr us some human emotion 😅
I've been playing VR since the VIVE1 days and the quality of VR games is still highly underwhelming. Alyx is still the ONLY good game after all these years and literally nothing could come even close to it. (no, metro is objectively very bad in comparison).
then why do you even have a vr headset 💀 waaaayyyyy more than half of the vr games are “crap grap” for kids if you think resident evil village vr is “crap grap”
Asguards Wrath is NOT good. If you're thinking to buy, trust me it's not worth it. It might have cool graphics and everything, but when it comes to the gameplay, it's very slow and janky. The story doesn't even get interesting for the first 3 hours, the game is NOT worth paying. It won't get you locked in for hours, you'll just get bored of it, the gameplay mechanic is BAD, and it's not fun for me. Maybe some other people have different opinions, but me personally, I don't think the game is worth like $60, you can buy WWAAAAYYY better games with cheaper prices
Let me know your top 5 games you have played the most this year!
Have to say I have only been playing Vail vr. You should try it.😅
@@danielasussenbacher5187 It's a solid game for sure
@@RhysDaKingVR Do I smell irony?🤣 Just joking, but keep Up the good Reviews👍
Battle talent, Into the radius, metro awakening, saints and sinners, demigod

As a newbie: Which are the best ones you would recommend? (I use a Pico 3 via PC so no exclusives for me..)

I have only done the first parts of half life Alyx and asgards wrath 1 and 2. I really need to commit to more games.

Leaving out Madison and Synapse is questionable. Leaving out GT7 is just utterly bizarre!

I just mentioned Madison also. That's the only game that has ever legit scared me lol.

What is that game at 0:03 doing there?
I added in a mixed reality section just incase people wanted it 😉
Half life alyx will always be on top
No "Elite Dangerous" man? really? That is an awesome space all around VR game.

You forgot about Metro Awakening in horror or shooter category.

Is a best-of VR list even real if it’s missing GT7?
I messed up not adding it 😢
I feel deeply disrespected that onward wasn’t in the shooter category
Onward fell off hard
Rainbow six VR😎

No vail for shooters?
We need Batman for playstation
Im new to pc vr and this is 100% the future of gaming
Question what fighting game you recommend
