Agree with you. Played both .GTA 5 is another overrated shit of Rockstar. Bad acting of characters. Dialogues are just plain except physics details which are better in GTA 5. But Cyberpunk 2077 is alot better than GTA 5 .If we ignore the character movement and vehicle driving animations, Its story , world and character design is so immersive. Even in some areas it surpasses Witcher 3 also. I think GTA 5 is more popular because it is loved by kids more who used drive cars from one place to another in game whereas Cyberpunk 2077 is quite a challenging and in depth game and it is suited for those who want to experience an immersive gameplay in a game. Eagerly waiting for CD ProjektRed's upcoming titles.
