@@susannevollmer2347 Vetrov is fantastic. The whole cast is wonderful, I adore this performance. There is an earlier Bolshoi performance with Irek Mukhamedov as Spartacus with a different cast but here Vetrov and Bilova and Semenyaka are all so excellent too that I love this one better

С годами понимаешь, что музыка написанная Хачатуряном гениальна и она действительно переносит тебя в то время, время восстания Спартака. Оркестр удивительно звучит! Жюрайтес- Цезарь Оркестра! И состав исполнителей главных партий спектакля- все выдающиеся танцовщики и танцовщицы. Мухаммедов- само олицетворение героической мужественности!
Партия Красса чудовищна по сложности, ничуть не менее партии Спартака. В adagio Красс исполняет подряд одну поддержку за другой. ОДИННАЦАТЬ. Ужас. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I was lucky. i saw this back in mid 80s with Mukhamedov. wonderful.
The film of Mukhamedov with Bessmertnova as Phrygia (1984?) is far superior to this one.
