    WOW!! I started in technology in 1979 with CP/M and 64k RAM, 2x360k storage and ten-core CPU. I.T has been my career (now retired). Currently 64GB RAM, 18TB local storage on MY built computer. I stand in AWE of how our technology has progressed and what can be accomplished! Kudos to ALL the team that makes THIS possible.

    Truly mind-blowing is the foreground elements actually on the background wall. Mind blown.

    I just saw the amazing short film... Your V.V.P. is an outstanding contribution to film making technology; truly revolutionary, and an incredible time-saver as well, when time is so often of the essence, and production could lag on for years...

      Thank you for the kind feedback, Darda. We very much agree about saving time!

    The 'behind the scenes' is as impressive, if not more so than the short movie itself. So much cooler than just a blue/green screen. I'd imagine more realistic for the actors too. Really neat 👌

    What would you say is the total budget spent on this short? Out of curiosity. Also were the creation of the digital assets included in the 4-day production or where those created beforehand and is that included in the total cost of the budget of the short?

    Fantastic how the technology advances but at the end of the day it is only as good as the script writing and how the actors deliver the script. Still, well done on creative thinking...

    This all looked liked the real deal. I looked at the behind the scenes video too, it's amazing how you made this but I only just about understand how you did it. But it didn't take away my enjoyment of it. Didn't get the ending though. I couldn't see what one healthy female could do to save the day, apart from grow plants. But where would that get her?

    I'd love to make a music video and been looking into VP as it cuts the costs down majorly. No more hours of set design... extra teams... long hours. Hoping to make my dream a reality but still, they are at least 10k :(

    Hey. Thanks for your please do a video explaining the use of a lighting console to control the lights on a virtual set?

    • @filmversatile
      @filmversatile  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good idea. We'll create one in our LED Demo series.

    Just astonishing and I'm glad you addressed the rock looking from above, because it wasn't clear how you did that on the final video. Not addressed here though is how much time was required in digital preparation for this. Do you have any detail on that?

    • @filmversatile
      @filmversatile  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Ricardo! We spent 10 days on asset preparation before production.

    Hey hi, Great to see fantastic work. can we have movable or inmotion objects in LED’s?

    • @filmversatile
      @filmversatile  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, we can. The virtual world within the LED screen can do anything the physical world does. Thanks for the question!

  • @lullyloogamers5272

    Pretty interesting. How affordable is this for indie filmmakers?

  • @LixiaoX

    Can you share what the budget of this was?

  • @tjs114
    @tjs114 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Claim one physical rock then proceed to show about 4.

    • @filmversatile
      @filmversatile  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha yeah. We're mostly trying to highlight that there were only three large items used to create three scenes without needing to build our set to have any parts that the actors don't touch. Couldn't think of a better word than "prop" for that...

  • @carolinesp5647
    @carolinesp5647 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The actors must have liked working in the volume way more than in front of a green screen
