Got my 99 cooking with fish, making money off of never burning Monkfish and then to Sharks. Didn't take very long, was a very zen grind, and of course the money money lol. don't let someone make fun of you because you got an "easy" 99, you got that 99 yourself, you made the effort, put in the time, and did it! ♥
Tip for the magic one for those of us with more tight gp wallets... the tome of water provides unlimited water runes when bursting, and if you equip a bone crusher necklace every time you have low prayer, it will refill your prayer points quickly. I've been slightly profiting while getting around 180k xp ph by picking up the prayer pots.

As always, love the videos! One small note for 99 ranged: Twisted buckler is much, MUCH better than the Armadyl god book. It has double the ranged strength of the anguish, and will boost your xp/hr to incredible rates, therefore making the path to 99 even cheaper. I tested black chins with normal void, no assembler, anguish, twisted buckler and I was getting 1.2m/hr at 96 ranged
@@MattCPhil the difference in ranged strength between black chins and red chins is equal to the anguish + buckler, it's pretty incredible on top of black chins. I should have also mentioned that I had rigour and divine pots.
I'd like to see a video on the the time and costs to get the max skills required for Elite diaries and master clues, as these are the only end game requirements. I've done this myself and it's a lot more motivating knowing I dont need to get 99 especially with boosts too
@@IsaacFNghostcrafting gold bracelets will make you a good profit from level 7 onward. gold bars are around 85gp and the bracelets go for around 235gp. 1000 gold bars would be roughly 85k. And 1000 gold bracelets would make roughly 235k with the 85k subtracted thats a 150k profit in about 45min in the right location.. near a bank and furnace (I use the one in edgeville)
There are a handful of skills like herblore, construction, smithing, mining and cooking that have always felt pointless to max beyond a soft unlock level that gives you access to all content. Combats can be maxed by just playing the game. Crafting for the cape tele and prayer for 99 PP are worth it imo.
Dont forget unlimited teleports to the maxed house. Construction cape is extremely useful if you get it done early and saves a TON of money if youre into doing corp, zulrah, vorkath, basically any high level boss where you refill after each trip. Since getting mine i know ive made the 80m i spent on construction back in supplies and teles. Super. Super useful
@@thatnerdjordan8031 I do a lot of bossing also, but I’ve never felt the need to go higher than 84 con. Tele tabs and law runes are dirt cheap. I have thousands more than I’ll ever use of each and it costs a fraction of 99 con. Tele tabs are 574gp each. It would take 150,000 house teleports to get your value out of that over just buying tabs. IMO, take that 80m and put it towards gear other skills.
note though that it's really worth getting 97/98 prayer, then maxing slayer with bonecrusher and ash sanctifier, and finally finishing 99 prayer. This is because the slayer nets you a decent bit of free prayer xp which is wasted if you get 99. 97 is the last level where you get any further benefit from super restores or prayer pots, the 97-99 levels are literally just 2 more prayer points to have at max, and the skillcape perk which is pretty useless.
It's been that way back from the start of the game all the way way in time haha. The first guy who got the world record of fastest 99 Fletching was banned at first because the Devs thought that he was cheating to get 99 Fletching in 4 and half hours..>Then he made a new account and did it again, recorded it all. They have never changed it since, crazy haha. I got my 99 Fletch the old fashion..and very slow way of Strining bows, made okay profit too but not great compared to my profit off of 99 Cooking.
You can do dragon bolts to 99 fletching for 2 gp/xp and it's more xp/fletch than mithril darts, but nobody wants yall to know that. Edit: Also magic is free w/ the right alchs and passive for 0 hours to 99. lol
some of the prices are crazy. when i did my first 99 in 2014 which was crafting, i only lost about 20m. I maxed in 2017, and the difference between what i paid in 99s to now is bizarre. smithing was around 80-100m, herb was 100m+, cons is basically the same. prayer was about 130-150m. my god. bots torched this game
Yeah pretty much, but here is the conundrum... What if all the bots suddenly went away and never came back? Imagine how prices would explode? And even after levling off they would be a lot more expensive items than today from then on. Sad as it is to say, because i fucking hate Botters...But they keep the income of the game on a lower tier budget because they farm highly desirable things. I remember back in the olden days(i started in 2004) when Dragon Bones were 4.5k each and the Blue DragonHide were 5k each. Compared tot he 2.3k Bones and 1.8k hide they are at as i look at them on the wiki while typing this lol. So if they all poofed and didnt come back those would be the prices you'd end up seeing. That being said we would be able to be the ones to profit off it at the same time.

99 construction from 99 fm is a bit offff I did 99 fm from minimum level and I think I reached 52 construction after having 1. Definitely helped out aloooottt
Enchanting bolts can make insane xp and gp for magic training, last week i did 1 tick enchanting diamond dragon bolts and i got 90gp per bolt and around 310k xp
I've never been able to get 1 ticking anything to work. I even tried 1 ticking with a metronome for the enchanting bolts, but it never works longer than a few seconds before it goes out of sync and i have to restart.
Nice video but I don't get what your starting point is for the cost and time invested. Obviously you need some levels before you can do these methods so from what level did you start the calculations?
Recently got 99 cooking. started the 99 grind with 1,000 lobbies at like lvl 45 and profited almost the whole way up through swordfish, monkfish, and sharks ending with like 5+mil gp.

farming should be an exception. It takes time for trees to grow, what are you suppose to do in like the 18 hours-3 days a tree grows? Do slayer or other bosses/minigames, which gives more seeds. Make money off the herbs you grow, etc. Do farming contracts for even more seeds. Nobody realistically grinds 99 farming the same way they do fletching for example, and says "that's how much it cost me". It's one of those skills that forces a near-fixed time investment that can be done for a profit.
i actually did grind my 99 farm by doing the mini game lol cuz i just wanted to get it done asap, and i almost farmed everything possible, allotments, hops, flowers, bushes, herbs, then farming mini game in between the growth time.
I disagree with construction as it has gotten way more inexpensive with the introduction of Mohagony Homes, cutting price down to 50% or even 30% of regular training.

for range 80-99 just do vorkath ;0 i hit 99 pretty quick. you make good gp too. i mean you could chin to 99 quicker im sure but doing vorkath i feel is the way to go
For fletching If you fletch dragon bolts while doing ardy course, the marks of grace should cover the cost of fletching bolts. Especially if you have all the diaries for the course.

I could have had my first 99 already in Firemaking. I just didn't want to do Wintertodt anymore. But 95 is almost like 99 for a noob like me who's only been playing for 4 months.
I profited 15m to 99 magic casting plank make the update that made it to where u only have to click once and u afk it was the best made for me specifically and I don't ask for it I love it lol
I got so unlucky with the wildy altar. No matter what world i tried to use, i would have a player coming to kill me within like 15 minutes. And a couple times i had a player kill me while on the way to the altar.

No reason to rush 99 magic when you will just get it by playing the game because unlike most skills its actually useful. By the time you have 99 slayer you will be way beyond 99 magic too, which if you think about for a moment is a massive waste of gp when you will be using that gp to burst tasks anyway unless you're into meleeing for 3 hours in place where you can't even benefit from a cannon.
so what i got for some who goes as a member for the first time is thieving for farming for herblore for slayer for prayer and crafting last is magic ok 10:39 and that is the reason crafing is a money maker in f2p 11:44 i did wines in f2p to 55 because of salmon is dirt cheap
Probably takes longer but cooking shouldn’t cost a dime. Cooked lobster and sword fish cost more then their raw counterparts. I just caught 20k lobby’s to hit 81 cooking then switched to swordfish. Profession pays for itself once your in the 40’s.
Ive liked this game a lot more recently because of how easy it is to get max in it. Buyables are so stupidly cheap compared to rs3. Ive maxed 2 RS3 accounts and one oldschool account in my playtime and osrs was so much nicer because it takes no time to make that money if you have a half decent account and most xp rates are just as comparable to rs3 for most skills.
For everyone who does crafting in Summer2023: Alching the bodys results in a win, not a loose! So if you spend more time you can get magic XP and more gp than you invest out of your 99 crafting grind
I have 11m cash stack (just what I have not in items) and I'm wondering if it's be smart for me to spend it on prayer. I'm currently at 70 and have been for years
man, the red chins price is so depressing nowadays, they used to be one of my better moneymaking methods when doing the tick method with sick xp, got to 96 hunter when I last played and was praying for a pet on the way to 99, but the effort to profit ratio is just not worth it now at least I could comfortably get a few range levels if I get bored of brutal blacks
Bots have ruined everything about this game. If there was a way to make money buying things in bulk from shops and selling to players (I used to do water vials) or any kind of collecting skill like mining, fishing, or wcing it's completely useless now as bots have tanked the prices. Only way to make decent money anymore is to kill things that drop valuables to alch or sell. Mostly bossing. If you're not at vorkath, zulrah, tob etc. you're wasting your time.

I was getting over 3mil exp an hour doing dragon darts, the fact that there is no cap to how fast you can combine the dart tips and feathers is insane

Air battle staff cost me 13m from 75-99, make sure to slow buy and sell, worked out close to 1.3-1.5gp/xp which is incredible. This was in May 2021.

I did Harralander Tar for 90 herblore on my main. Took hours, but slow bought over the course of a month and was actually very cheap in the end.

You don't need to COMPLETE mm2. You just need to do the first 20ish minutes or so to unlock the caves.

@@Ricardo_Rick Do slayer, plenty of (profitable, efficient and fun) burst tasks to 99.
No reason to rush 99 magic when you will just get it by playing the game because unlike most skills its actually useful.
By the time you have 99 slayer you will be way beyond 99 magic too, which if you think about for a moment is a massive waste of gp when you will be using that gp to burst tasks anyway unless you're into meleeing for 3 hours in place where you can't even benefit from a cannon.
For herblore you could just buy the ingredients to do prayer pots and then sell them back for a very small loss. But still
If you're doing prayer pots you may aswell use then for slayer.
Grow your own herbs if you want to level it fast and free. You’ll get good farming xp too if you use the allotments

I suggest you do this on an alt, its extremely afk to cook sharks while doing bossing on your main. You can do this at any level.
Its so cheap there's no point to not do it from the moment you unlock it unless you want to profit.

Probably takes longer but cooking shouldn’t cost a dime. Cooked lobster and sword fish cost more then their raw counterparts. I just caught 20k lobby’s to hit 81 cooking then switched to swordfish. Profession pays for itself once your in the 40’s.
Ive liked this game a lot more recently because of how easy it is to get max in it. Buyables are so stupidly cheap compared to rs3. Ive maxed 2 RS3 accounts and one oldschool account in my playtime and osrs was so much nicer because it takes no time to make that money if you have a half decent account and most xp rates are just as comparable to rs3 for most skills.

For everyone who does crafting in Summer2023: Alching the bodys results in a win, not a loose! So if you spend more time you can get magic XP and more gp than you invest out of your 99 crafting grind
Cooking: Buy sharks overnight and then cook them. This makes good money and you still get 250k xp/hr

Fastest is cooking , I just use wines lol , I know it’s the second fastest method but it’s not click intensive at all
man, the red chins price is so depressing nowadays, they used to be one of my better moneymaking methods when doing the tick method with sick xp, got to 96 hunter when I last played and was praying for a pet on the way to 99, but the effort to profit ratio is just not worth it now
at least I could comfortably get a few range levels if I get bored of brutal blacks
Bots have ruined everything about this game. If there was a way to make money buying things in bulk from shops and selling to players (I used to do water vials) or any kind of collecting skill like mining, fishing, or wcing it's completely useless now as bots have tanked the prices. Only way to make decent money anymore is to kill things that drop valuables to alch or sell. Mostly bossing. If you're not at vorkath, zulrah, tob etc. you're wasting your time.
