Crumb catchers instead of dust pans! Boy there was some great stuff, but out of this world prices! Thanks
*Those brass "dust pans" and brushes are called "Silent Butlers" because in wealthy homes the Butler or Maid would use them to silently, unobtrusively, sweep up crumbs from the dining table during the wealthy family's meals. 😉 This was one way to keep the linens clean for longer, in between washings. They are very pretty, and I am glad you bought more than one set. I also loved the brass bookends❣️💜*
*Merry Christmas 🎄 ♥️ Julie, to you and your ENTIRE FAMILY❣️😉 Remember, JESUS ☝️Is The REASON For The SEASON‼️✝️ 🕊💜🎄*
I have never seen such high prices at an estate sale! Lots of cool stuff, but there will be much left over after the sale with those prices. You got some good finds, Julie!
The owner of that home had spent an adult lifetime there....Their artwork was great! Wish you would've bought that deep red leather Italian purse-Beautiful things and so much to look through.
That house was definitely owned by one of our kinds of people! Too bad the estate sale was run by the OPPOSITE of our kind. Those prices were nuts. Reminds me of the first estate sale I ever went to... and that one almost scared me away from ever doing another. Glad I let go of that notion.
Hi Julie, The "Pumpkins in the Snow" painting is by Bob Timberlake, American realist artist known for his watercolor paintings. He was born and raised in North Carolina. He has a Gallery in Lexington, NC.
The antique brocade/needlepoint purse is amazing
Maybe I’m thinking totally wrong but the needlepoint bag isn’t that a knitting bag?Let me know what you all think. Thanks
Definitely high prices. Did you purchase the brass inkwell piece?
The prices were really out of this world. I saw the metal ice try I remember using those as a child, and the spice rack my momma had one of those I really like that just not my style in this life time. Thanks for sharing.
I wonder if that estate sale company gets to do a house clean out after the sale is done? That's why the prices are so ridiculous, they get to keep what doesn't sale. That way they can take it to their place and sell it and make a huge profit.
The house is beautiful. Tha prices however were ridiculous!
Love love the house. I jumped up when I seen the hutch and corner hutch in dinning room!
Prices at estate says are typically higher because the profit is being shared with the home owner and the estate sale co, Nice things if your buying for yourself, not resale. Love watching your videos Julie especially your makeover videos. I love your style!!
Yes, estate sales are things that people cherished unlike yard sales.
That estate sale was nice but way over-priced.
Those spice jars are beautiful.
Love the spice bottles! So cute! Also the purse was gorgeous❤
Julie...omg, I love that beautiful little spice wooden hutch with those spice jars!! If I had a spot for it I would seriously pay whatever the price and shipping cost would be! Please let us see how you clean it up. I would keep it all as one together. I hope you see my comment... I never really comment because I'm not sure if you actually see what people write. The internet is a mystery most of the time.
Were they dustpans or crumb trays and brushes?
Yes! I’d have definitely gotten them all, including the brushes.
Whoever did that estate sale didn’t seem to have pride in their business. I had friends who did estate sales and everything was always clean and organized. The prices were not very reasonable and it looked like they were going to have a-lot left.
I agree. That was a very sloppy estate sale. All that junk in the basement should have been thrown in a big dumpster before they ran the sale. People see that and makes a person not want to even buy anything.
Last day of a sale and it's still completely full = too expensive! 😂
I have a crumb catcher the brush fell behind my stove I love it though 🤣🤷♀️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Way overpriced!!!! I would not have purchased anything at those prices. Crumb pans and brishes
I think I would have gotten the lovely dark wood frame for $37.50. I haven’t been thrifting since my mom is unable to go but I might have to start again. I’ve caught the thrift bug from you!
That purse is gorgeous!! Why did you pass on the iron planter boxes out back?? They were awesome! But overall those prices were a little crazy, even at half off!
Bob Timberlake had a gallery in NC. He might have been from NC, but I'm not sure.
Loved seeing all the cool items but yikes on the prices so even 50% off was high. You bought some good items for sure.
Those trays are English crumb trays with brush, for cleaning crumbs off table after eating!
4:19 Se ve un nacimiento de manufactura mexicana, hecho de barro rojo pintado a mano. Muy lindas cosas pero precios muy altos.
Super high prices on these beautiful things!
The brass crumb catchers also had the "broom" right next to them you missed picking them up to go with the "pans".
The curved brushes and dust pans are dining brushes, to sweep crumbs off of the tablecloth.
Love the brass bookends!
Did you get the little bird? So sweet! Loved your purchases and that purse!! Any time to look at books? I agree that the prices were sky high even with 50% off! Love the spice jars as well!
Even at half off those prices were HIGH !
I would love to see Joanna Gaines get ahold of this house!nid love to see what it looked like 40 years ago. Beautiful items but way too expensive.
Wishing you and your family a blessed and happy Christmas ❤
This home is beautiful! All of the items are as well! Wow!!
Some of that stuff was so expensive they need to have a half off the half price sale to even get it to reasonable. But awesome house and so much stuff wow!.
Beautiful house! They had lots of pretty stuff!
You got some amazing things but I agree those prices were very high.
Just slays me that peope want to unload their stuff but price it waaaay too high
Everything was priced too high eve at half off!
Omg I want that purse !!!!!!! It’s beutiful
Prices were insane. Lots of pretty stuff though
Will you be selling any of the crumb catcher sets?
There were some great items, but yes, the prices were high.
I would have run home to take a shower after that house.
Loved the little dustpans and the spice rack!
The bag is beautiful
The dust pans were pretty awsome.
Great video, thank you
Merry Christmas and Blessings to you and your entire family. I enjoy watching your channel and hope to continue for 2024!
Are you selling the purse?
The spice jars are definitely my favorite. So cute. I've always wanted a cute vintage small spice rack. Kind of the like the one you found.
Pumpkins in the snow is a Bob Timberlake print, a North Carolina artist. Very well known realist artist from Lexington, NC. He also has a furniture line.
I love those little dust pans. They are called so ething waiters. I have some metal amd a beautiful hand painted one from 1930s . I lovevthe gold earrings, spice boxes..really everything. Juliebyou need to come to our area of WV. Estate sales are so plentiful ,it has driven prices way down. ❤❤❤❤
Lots of goodies in the kitchen at the first house. The large black tray sells for $100 dollars on eBay.
Get the blue hat
The purse!!!
Those were crumb catchers you purchased. The brushes that were with them are used to sweep the crumbs into the crumb catcher, off of table clothes at fancy restaurants and ritzy houses!
Hi, I would love to purchase the two German busts please?
What a beautiful old home. Prices were over the moon.
Some really cute stuff. That house is beautiful.❤❤
Your right that was an inkwell for a desk o
Um, what is up with always saying "axe" instead of ask?
Or saying “ya’ll” a hundred times.
Too funny that you ask that. It is just her accent. I'm not sure where she lives though.
Merry Christmas❤!
Great video✌️
It would be so cool to see what that house looks like now, assuming it’s been sold.
With that much stuff left on the last day, they should have priced things better.
