I have noticed on my welded lace front synthetic wigs that there is often a single split knot in the hairline. I think the manufacturer does this to make the knot more fine but I don't like how the hair lays when they do it that way. It makes the hairline a bit messy, but maybe this technique works better on human hair.
I like the double split knot it looks like it would be good on 13x6 when you don't know how the wearer will direction the hair.
The double knot is nice, it has a good lift to bring the hair up and away from the cap.
The single knot looks the most fine and neat in the way the hair lays down.
Do you use a variety of knots depending where in the closure, frontal, or entire cap that you are putting the hair?

Actually the best knots that should be done is double splitted knots and it can be directed in anyway

I use double knots at times for my smaller closures cos it makes it more flat but any which ways double splitted knots is best for all sizes of closures
