You simply find Zelle in your mobile banking app, add the person you want to send or receive money from and type the amount.
If the person is in the Zelle network and their bank supports Zelle, they will get the money within minutes.
If they are not, they will still get the money in 1-2 days.

How about if you have a Visa credit card? I do not have a debit card. Can you still use Zelle?
Missing an important part here on lets say android users that their bank isn't listed or supported, what does adding your debit card do? obviously for sending others money, but when others send you money where does it get added to if you can't add your bank? that debit card you added?

No. And because there's no refund option, Zelle is only supposed to be used with people you know and trust. Zelle is popular with scammers because once your money is gone, it's gone. Unless the person sends it back to you.

How do you send money from your bank to a friends bank, BOTH of which use Zelle? An I send from Chase to M&T for example since Zelle carries both.
Sender can choose between the phone number or email address connected to the receiving account
First of all you need to complete your profile in your bank like email and phone number. Then register zelle. That’s all

As a test, the person sending and the person receiving, both bank at TD and it took about 3 days to send $1.00.
Zap your money, is what I call it visiting L.A., no TD bank to make a deposit, Bank of America charges $3.00 to check you're TD account balance. If a person loses they're plastic bank card or drop your phone and it breaks with all of your information now what, cash is king I hate to see people.buying a Snickers with a plastic card. old men like me would rather have folding money in my hands.

My credit union doesn’t offer Zelle. So I downloaded the app and filled out all my debit card info. But nothing comes up that shows I can send money. There is no three lines at the top as you show for me to click on. I just keeps asking me to it my cell number and then back to searching for my bank. I’m stuck in a loop. When I try to enter the bank info, it says that I already did. What am I doing wrong?

Yes if they have your email or phone number you registered with zelle. They can go into zelle and hit request instead if send. They can then enter the amount requested and the person just like you do with send. It will send a request to the other person for review and to authorize or deny.

I don’t think it works that way. Venmo and PayPal work that way but as far as I know, zelle is a transfer systems that bank use and tied to banks

You left out some things. First, Zelle won't let you use a business account debit card to enroll. Secondly, after inputting your personal account debit card when your bank isn't listed, how do you receive money and where does it go? Does Zelle later ask you to input your bank account and or routing number? Or does the money show up as a credit on your debit card? How would I remove it from the card and transfer it to my bank account?

It goes go to the account the email/phone # is registered to. You can only register a phone or email with 1 bank's Zelle program at any one time. Also, check with your bank. Some banks dont let you use Zelle to send money to yourself at a different bank
The verification process is pretty sketchy imo. I’m in the middle of receiving money and it keeps having the sender and receiver of the funds back and forth. (More than one time) I don’t understand why multiple send and receives have to be sent and it makes me feel uneasy about using the app.

Senders bank says my bank will receive funds estimated on June 1st..today is May 26th. Capital one to wells fargo. Funds already taken from her even tho she has option to cancel...will i get my money before June 1st??? Thats way too long to wait.
I recently experienced a similar delay- using the same account I'd used many times before and to an account I've sent money to many times over the past few years. The only warning I received about the delay was that the "Standard" process would be used to send the money. I was informed by my bank that they have no control over Zelle and that Zelle takes and holds the money as they wish. Even if you cancel the transaction you must wait until Zelle sends it back to the original sender. (none of this is instant)

@@CallMeJabber Glad they got their money back right away, perhaps if I had noticed the delay immediately it would have allowed me to do that. I just assumed it went through and didn't check until today whenI needed to use the money. The only options I had was to wait for the payment to supposedly be credited tomorrow or cancel the payment and possibly wait until next Monday to get the funds back.

I had reached out to capital one on twitter and asked because i woulda been screwed if the sender canceled it and didnt get the money back right away because she wouldn't have been able to send again that amount...once cap one replied back to me that they would indeed get the funds back instantly i told the sender to cancel and luckily it worked
@@CallMeJabber I'm glad everything worked out for you, I was able to fix my problem too no thanks to Zelle or my bank. Luckily, I was able to borrow the money for a day to cover my bills that came through and repay it the next day. I just want to put these people on blast so that they make it clear what will happen before people trust them with critical transactions.
